I see the Spiced Orange that everyone loves doesn’t say “kid safe.” Can I still diffuse it safely with children in the house? I don’t use any topically on my children, unless I buy pre-diluted roll ons… Thanks!

I wouldn’t recommend diffusing this blend in the same room as your 4 month old and 2 year old. However, you could diffuse in your main living area while they are napping in their rooms and after they go to sleep at night!
I’m also trying to naturally combat my migraines as I’m nursing the 4 month old. I was looking at the Tension synergy and noticed the mention of a KidSafe Headache Away but I can’t find it. Is the Tension save for my littles or also not recommend? Is the KidSafe Headache Away available somewhere I’m not looking? Thanks so much!

My kids are 4 years old and 10 months. I diffuse in the living room— not in a closed area. If that matters.
cbeth that does make a difference, but I would still recommend this particular blend not be diffused when the children are in the room. There are other non-KidSafe oils that are safe to diffuse with young children, but Clove Bud and Cinnamon Cassia are just too strong. Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Love Plant Therapy EOs & have been addicted since Collin posted about their diffuser necklaces. I ordered this set when they came out with it, Not a fan of it. In fact it actually made me nauseous when I diffused it. I was so excited for this blend, but now it’s just sitting in my box collection😩😓

I’m curious what made the set nauseous to you? I am trying the oils for the first time and I’m nervous now about receiving them. Ger, did you try to return the products??
Everyone reacts differently to different scents. She may have not liked one of the scents, may have used to much in her diffuser or diffused for too long. Essential oils are not fragrances and are to be treated with care and respect. Plant Therapy is my go to for essential oils. They are a great company and they stand by their products. They have great customer service and are very responsive to their customers. Their return policy is by far above any other company I am aware of and they offer low prices and free shipping. I personally have all of the oils in this set and have no issues with any of them.
I diffused pumpkin latte bc I was getting in the mood of baking & fall cleaning! lol I don’t know why but the scent just seemed too strong for me? I only dropped maybe 2/3 drops in a 500mL diffuser. So now I’m afraid to use the rest of the set. Spiced orange smells a bit too strong too. I LOVE PT oils, especially their kidsafe blends. But this was not one for me. Thank you, I will contact you about maybe exchanging for something else. I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company & LOVE their oils. Which is why, I didn’t bother with the hassle of returning/exchanging. And I agree, PT has really great customer service. If you have kids, go with with Kidsafe ones.
Thanks Ger! Feel free to try the other two oils and if you don’t like them, I am happy to send a replacement for them too! I don’t recommend just sniffing them out of the bottle because that isn’t the best way to really smell them. Try them in your diffuser or you can put a drop on a paper towel and smell them that way. Let me know what you think!

PT, I’m having difficulty with the coupon codes, as well. I really only want/need two of the oils. I can put both oils in my cart, enter the promo code, and it shows the discount being applied. However, once I continue with the checkout process, it removes one of the codes and charges full price for one oil. I have not continued with the payment process for this reason.

Hi Becky, I just added the Autumn Breeze coupon first and then the Pumpkin Latte coupon second and continued through checkout and the discounts stayed applied. Maybe try one more time adding the coupons in this order?
I just tried it again, in that order. Once I get to the shipping information page, it removes the code for the pumpkin latte, and there is a red bar across the top reading, “One or more coupons has been removed from your basket.”
I also am having trouble combining coupon codes. I really only “need” two of the oils, so it does not make sense to purchase the set. I can put them both in my cart and add both codes, however when I continue through the checkout process it drops one of the codes and charges full price for one of the oils.
Hi Becky, If this happens again, try just re-adding the coupon code that dropped and see if it stays the second time it is added. I am not seeing this problem but there are a couple people who are and it seems that when they add the codes in a different order it works so I recommend trying that. Let me know if it works!
I have two year twins, I would like to diffuse the spiced orange… can you explain to me why it isn’t kidsafe? Is it harmful to them? Thank you (in advance)!

HI Sarah and Julia! Technically the thing that makes Cinnamon Cassia and Clove Bud not KidSafe is for topical concerns. Both are very hot oils and can easily burn a child’s skin even when diluted extremely well. However, because Plant Therapy is marketing for children in general, there are some concerns of the oils being diffused with small children. 1. The oils are both very strong and can easily be overwhelming to a small child. 2. There is a very small chance of a topical irritation even when the oils are diffused. There have been too many cases where someone has diffused a strong oil like Cinnamon in the same room as a child where their little senses got quickly overwhelmed and it made them sick. For these reasons we recommend these oils not to be used with children under the age of 10. Please let me know if this helps. Thanks!
