Just beware that I purchased Lowe’s Gift card from this seller (Paypal Digital Gifts) back in April this year. I Didn’t try use the gift card for about 4 months. At which time I found out they had took the complete balance. I’ve tried contacting them but they won’t do anything for me. SO MAD!

more details please — I just purchased one and then saw your note, but I am not sure I am understanding what they did to you. Did it expire? Not the correct amount on gift card?

    • Bethany

Did they take it or did they never load it? It’s always a good idea to check gift card balances as soon as you get the gift card.

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear about your experience! Thanks for sharing!

I tried to use it at Lowe’s. they told me there was $0 balance. So then i checked the history of the card activity online. there was 2 charges at Lowe’s that used the full balance of my card about 2 weeks before I had tried to use. So maybe alright if you use card right away but I still feel lke they stole from me! They do not guarantee any gift cards after purchase is what they told me!

When was your card used? Mine was 10/21 online purchase, whole amount!

        • Lori

It was used in the beginning of October. I tried using at the end of October. I must have bought in June also when it was $85 for the $100 gift card.

I just called paypal 1-877-569-1148, explained to them what happen. They said they were having problem with egiftcard at thr beginning of the year. So they refunded me money back to my paypal account. (Minus $15 promotional i received, of course) i feel much better now. Please call them, you need to be able to tell them the date you purchased the card. Good luck!

            • Lori

THank you Wilma! I just contacted paypal and they are going to issue me a refund. I realize now that the seller of the gift card (paypal digital gifts) probably is just using paypal name but no relation to paypal. Thats why at first I thought paypal would’nt help me. I may actually get my $85 back that I thought was gone for good. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Do you mean the gift card expired? Can you provide additional details? I’d like to know more before I purchase.

The same thing happened to me. I wasted $85 for a $0 value card. Bought when deal posted in June. What a scam.

    • Wilma

Please check my post above. I just called PayPal and they refunded me my $$. Wondering if it is because the promotional code we used, was not meant for gift card! Good luck, hope you get your $85 back like I did.

Would suggest if you buy this, use it within 30 days so you can dispute with your credit company if there are any issues.

OMG… I too purchased Lowes gift card from them back in June. 2-$100 card. After I read the comment, i checked my card balance right away. They are $0 balance on them. I called CS, they said cards were used in full on 10/21 both card. I am really mad now. $200 down the drain. I am contacting them via ebay now and waiting for their reply. Also call my cc company to dispute the charge!

Oh bummer! Hoping they can resolve this for you soon! 🙁

    I would contact Paypal !!

If you purchased through eBay, you are protected for I believe 30 or 60 days. You can dispute through eBay. I’m an eBay seller so I know this…it goes both ways, there are some shady sellers out there, some shady buyers too, unfortunately. And yeah, the dispute timeframe with Paypal is even longer, I think you can dispute a purchase up to 6 months afterwards. I don’t know about every state, but in MN it’s illegal for gift cards to ever expire.

    • Lori

It was past 60 day ebay guarantee. And paid thru paypal And Paypal is the seller of the gift card so they are not going to help me either. I see I’m not the only one they stole from. I would not buy from them!!

I bought two and used them fine just now. Thanks for letting me save $40!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it! You’re very welcome!

    Site says no more available.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It appears that they must have restocked as I am finding them available now as I click through.
