amazon-playstationDo you have old textbooks, electronics, video games or CD’s collecting dust on your shelves or taking up space in your closet? If so, you may want to take note of Amazon.com’s Trade-In Program where you can trade in eligible phones, books, DVD’s, cameras and much more AND Amazon will give you a gift card in return!

As an idea, if you have an old Playstation 4 Console, you can head over here and click the Trade In Now button on the right to score a $187 Amazon Gift Card! Awesome!

More About Amazon Trade-In Program:

* Head over here and find out if your item(s) is eligible for trade-in and how much it is worth (you can search by title or keyword)

* Add the trade-in item to your trade-in cart by clicking on the Trade-In Here button

* You’ll then be prompted to select the condition of the item (choose from Like New, Good and Acceptable)

* If you find the trade-in value to be acceptable, you’ll then be prompted to choose the shipping method and return address. Just print the shipping label, affix it to your box and then bring the box to your local UPS store or USPS drop off location (and Amazon.com will pay for all the costs!).

* Be sure to ship your items within 7 calendar days of submitting the trade-in.

* If your submission is accepted, an Amazon.com Gift Card for the value of your trade-in will appear in your Amazon account, generally within 2 business days. Your gift card payment is automatically added to the available balance on your account so you don’t need to redeem any claim codes or wait for gift cards in the mail. It’s that easy!

Not to be negative, but at the least for old iPhones, I would recommend eBay over Amazon. It is a little more work, but my profit from eBay was about $30 higher than the trade-in value Amazon offered.

There is zero risk with Amazon though, lots of risk with eBay.

I have to agree, Amy, as well. Been burned too many times on Ebay. Glad you are having better luck with Ebay, Alison.

does anyone know where to find deals on ps4 this year?

    • Mona

Several places had deals in them last week on BF and after including yesterday. They were all on sale for $249.99 and either $40, $50 or $75 back in a gift card or kohls cash. I was able to score the last PS4 Friday late afternoon around 4pm at Kohls. There was one left locked up and I got $75 kohls cash back, along with a$15 reward I used and a $50 gift card I had! The best deal! This is after I initially bought an Xbox one S! My son couldn’t decide which he preferred. He already had the Xbox 360.
I would keep looking online. I’m sure they will continue to have deals since these gaming systems are two of the hottest items.
