   If I return something that earned me Kohls cash, is it possible to hang on to the cash? Maybe get a merchandise credit?

  They changed the policy on this and will give you Kohl’s cash for anything returned that you used Kohl’s cash on. The new Kohl’s cash is good for 30 days.

  If you earned kohls cash, and the return causes your purchase to go below the required amount for the kohls cash they will void the kohls cash you received. If you already used the kohls cash, they will deduct that amount from your return. If the return doesn’t cause you to drop below the purchase requirement then you will get the full return amount.
