Collin, could you put like an **** about the Disney Giftcards to buy with the Target Giftcards? While it doesn’t impact me, so many of your followers have commented that you cannot buy the Disney Giftcards with the Target Giftcards. I would hate to see someone get “burned.” I guess if people were duly warned…! Appreciate all you and the team do for every one of our followers.
I bought Disney gift cards with the target gift card. How am I going to get burned? It activated them as I called and verified the balance. Next I will be walking up to the ticket window at Disneyland and handing them over to payment. What’s the problem, as I don’t get it?
Fun: Not sure when you did, but many people reporting the orders were canceled shortly after. If you were able to buy them that was a nice glitch!

I went to my target today and talked to the manager before purchasing. She even scanned a disney gc to verify that they can be purchased with no restrictions in store. Hth
Fun, I agree, some have been able to do it, but if you will read in past comments when Collin has posted this deal (in advance of today), some have specifically mentioned they have not been able to do it. No, it has not been an absolute, so good on you for getting them. Just trying to make others aware that there could be an issue and don’t want anyone pointing the finger at Collin.

I was disappointed to learn you can no longer purchase disney gcs online using g target gcs, my orders were cancelled three times before I called customer service to ask why. Luckily I had a target store nearby that still accepts target gcs to purchase disney gcs. Customer service said this may be up to the store and may change at a later time. Purchasing hundreds dollars worth of cards in hopes to use them for Disney may tie up people’s money or “burn” them if denied.
I decided to test it for the heck of it and there isn’t even an option to use a Target GC at checkout online.
I’m not sure if you have read my comment in the other post but while you CANNOT purchase Disney gift card with target gift card “ONLINE” (this was terminated in mid August this year), you still CAN in stores. But I’ve heard that some associates might give you a hard time doing that. I suggest using a self-checkout if that’s available at your stores.

Yes you can, you just need to have at one other thing in your cart.

Off topic – anyone has any Kohl’s cash / rewards they are not going to use? I am putting together a donation for my daughter’s preschool. I just used a $300 gift card to purchase $300 gift cards online. I used my target app and the key is to add at least one other thing in your cart or else it won’t work (I tried 😉). So, yes you can use a target gift card to purchase gift cards if you have one more thing in your cart. Also had them ship the physical gift cards.

You are no longer able to purchase Disney gift cards online using target gcs! You may be able to buy in store but it depends on the individual store. Found this out last month, going to Disney in January 🙂

Are you sure you’re getting 1% from Ebates? In the terms it states under Exclusions – Cash Back is not available on gift cards and orders deemed by Target to be for resale.

You can choose to have them physically mailed or emailed.
If you have them emailed, ” Your eGiftCard will be active after 10am CST on 12/5. “
Has anyone that bought their gift card in store today tried using it? Kind of odd that it isn’t available to use until tomorrow I’m just wonder if they put a hold on it or if they are just saying that?
I’m pretty sure they are not allowing people to use them today so people won’t try buying another gift card with that gift card.
Just a heads up couponers-went to target today & they rejected nearly all of my coupons!!! I had to talk to the manager to have them accept my target coupon! What the heck :/
The last 2 times I used coupons at target it was a huge hassle. I felt like a criminal and I wasn’t trying to pull anything shady. Very frustrating!
I had that problem, too. Haven’t been back to that store since. Other Targets in my area haven’t given me any problems yet…fingers crossed, as I would hate to have to stop shopping at Target. I’ve already started doing some of my shopping at Walmart.
My Target told me their new system automatically handles accepting coupons & when to give a Target GC for items purchased….the manager told me she couldn’t override it!! I was attempting to use coupons for 2 items w/ OOP $2 something & then receive a $5 GC back for a moneymaker. I’ve done those deals tons of times before but they wouldn’t let me do it.
I also was told the CS desk could not over ride the computer when I had purchased an item with a coupon it did not recognize. I told the CS desk to then to return the item and refund me. For some reason the person was able to issue me the $1.00 bill in cash I was trying to save in the first place.
I took advantage and bought my gift cards online. If you have Paypal Credit you get 6 months interest free if your purchase is $99 or more. So I can pay off my $300 gift card at $45 each month 🙂

Just FYI if it hasn’t been said…I’ve placed multiple orders online for emailed Target GCs exceeding the $300 limit (in total). I think you just can’t order more than $300 at a time.
As for Disney GCs, you can use Target GCs in most stores, just not online – that’s what most Disney forums and the like state based on user experiences.

Wendy/Mel, I think in the earlier posts followers have commented that you do not get the extra 5% off with the Red Card (if that is what you mean). I don’t have a Red Card… just going off of previous comments in Collin’s earlier posts.
(different mel than above) In the past when I’ve done split payment for transactions (gc, redcard), I *have* received the 5%, but it is based AFTER the GC payment. Like I did the $50 in food/beverage get $10 off a few wks ago. After q’s + CW, my total was about $35. I used a $25 GC and got 5% off the remaining balance of $10. HTH.

Not all targets will let you purchase gift cards with a gift card! Then I called corporate and they informed me that they stopped allowing the purchase of gift cards with a gift card 2 months ago! I’m so annoyed that I just wasted a trip! Choose your target carefully everyone!
