I’ve never received a simple product to test from Toluna. It’s a scam!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for the honest feedback Laura!

they never send things out. this is probably just a scam to get your email and personal info!

  6. Arty

I AGREE WITH ALL OF YOU I GOT LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT THEY SAID I WENT TO FAST ON SURVEYS. BULL. THEY KEPT SENDING ME SURVEYS AND THEY DID NOT SAY THEY LOCKED ME OUT UNTIL I WENT TO GET MY REWARDS. THEN I AM LOCKED OUT. BULL

I signed up with them a couple of years ago, I think. (It’s been well over a year and probably over two.) I’ve never tested a product for them.
Has anyone that’s reading this ever tested anything?
Collin, do you know of anyone testing for them? Possibly someone sending in photos and their personal experience, like some of your other posts.

Great question! I actually don’t completely hate Toluna – I often qualify for surveys & I feel it doesn’t take too long to get to 30k points, which is what you need for $10. Just a tip though – their points DO expire. I learned that the hard way, I lost almost 15k points. Now I just redeem anytime I get to 30k.

      • ~jenn~

I just find it odd that no one seems to be busting at the seams to share their experience, when people here get so excited about saving 50 cents (I mean that in a non snarky way).
Toluna can’t be so selective and limited that no one on this site ever gets selected. L’ORÉAL- extremely selective.
        House Party- very limited.
Yet, not only have I read of other members on this site be chosen by one or the other, I’ve been chosen by both!
I dunno, seems too fishy to me and mama didn’t raise no commercial fisherman!
As far as points and gift cards, I can spend an hour or less (on a good day of course) with other apps and whatnot to get enough points for a $10 gift card.

I also have never tested products from Toluna. Very seldom qualify for a survey. Never even redeem rewards because each month a lot of my points expire. They changed the rewards amount and now you have to have so many points to get a simple $10 gift card.

i never qualified for any either and finally quit them. it was also an annoyance to me how many daily emails i received from them. i feel like they offer the “possibility” of testing free products in order to get your info, them spam you with several daily emails.
and it was offensive to me that the survey “opportunities” were usually offers of 20-minute survey for less than a dollar of points. or 40 cents points for a 15-minute survey, etc. not a good value of my time.

Does anyone know of any other good/reputable sites for testing products? I’ve read reviews on products such as hair straighteners and blow dryers, but where do you sign up to test these??

    • rebecca

Smiley360 and PINCHme are 2 that i like using. they reliably have offers for me multiple times per year. Smiley360 NEVER sends junk/spam/ads emails. these are free to sign up and have all kinds of different stuff to try out.
PINCHme has had these lately: toothpaste, scrubby dishcloth, a few cereals, nasal strips, floor cleaner, and a lot of other items. and they usually send 4-6 items at a time.
Smiley360 has had me test several different kinds of vitamins, toothpaste with fancy toothbrush, and oxiclean. their test items are full-sized products.

Influenster is also a good one. They have voxboxes that they send out on the time to people to test. You then complete certain tasks after a period of time. If you complete all of the tasks you are entered into a giveaway for even more products! I’ve been with the site for a year and a half and received 3 things to test. They also give coupons for free or discounted products to try as well. Feel free to sign up under my referral link – http://www.influenster.com/r/1194922

I highly recommend them. It’s also a good review site of sooooooo many products under the sun. You can ask and answer questions for badges.
