I am thinking I really should become a Kohl’s card holder. I have passed up on so many deals because I don’t have their charge card!

      Ditto, Margie!

      • Amanda

        Ditto!

    • Erica

Me too. Yesterday, I almost filled out the application but them I saw some reviews on internet saying some bad things about Kohl’s card. I would like to know more about it from someone who has it. 🙂

      • Sanya

I have a Kohl’s card since the past one year and never had any problems with it, intact I always score great deals and you also get a free $10 kohl’s cash when you sign up for paper less billing. I also have a Macy’s credit card, but I use the Kohl’s card more often due to their awesome deals. No regrets so far!

        • Lo

Paperless= no shutterfly codes. I get one every month.

      • Margie

Really Erica? Wow, yes, hopefully someone will be willing to chime in and give their opinion. I don’t know anyone that has one unfortunately.

      • ejshone

I’ve had a Kohl’s card for years with no problem. I pay it off each month so I don’t pay interest and still get all the perks.

      • Margie

Thanks everyone for your opinion. I don’t carry over balances either, so hopefully that would minimize problems. 🙂

A coworker talked me into getting the Kohl’s charge after they first opened here in Colorado Springs… It has been crazy awesome the deals I have gotten. I have gotten quite strategic on my purchases:) I have never had any problems with customer service either… I purchase thousands of dollars a year on line through them with no problems and have purchased quite a bit in store and had a online purchases I picked up in store. I usually pay off after use but there are times I have had to carry a balance and never issues. If you pay late you will get bothered by every and any retailer. Just set up an auto payment with them so you never have any issues. Hope this helps:)

        • Erica

Thank you so much, everybody, for sharing your experience. I think I will apply for the card. 🙂

      • Laura

I’ve had a Kohl’s card for over 15 years. I’ve never had an issue- not sure what the bad reviews are all about. Love love love all the deals I get!

      • Angela

I have had a kohls card for close to 10 years and have NEVER had a bad experience with it. It’s totally worth it for the deals!

    • Jess

I signed up last year when I saw myself missing out on these deals. I’ve used it the past year with no problems. I’m so happy I did it, I’ve scored so many amazing deals thanks to the card and this site!

      • Bobbi

Same here. I got my card a year ago and have gotten so many great deals! I haven’t had any issues with it.

      • Erica

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I think I will apply for the card. 🙂

  5. Jenni

I’ve had a Kohls card for 16 years… never any issues. Love my 30% off coupons!

  6. Sue

If you worry about carrying a balance or getting ahead of yourself by having a credit card simply pay your transaction with your Kohls card and immediately pay the card off with cash/check right away. Great deals envelope system utilized.

I’ve had the card for many years with no problems. Adult young adults have both gotten cards because they know the great deals I’ve gotten over the years too.

  7. Julie Perrault

I also have a Kohls charge card and have never had any problems. You can also pay your bill right at the store as to save you a stamp.

  8. Sherrie

Not sure why but it won’t let me add these codes to my cart. Weird. I’m trying to buy the washcloths. Maybe it will work later?

    • Madrupps

I run into that often. Be sure you are signed in and have your Kohl’s card selected as method of payment, if it is a code for cardholders only…

  9. Jenn

No issues with Kohl’s charge. We just pay off the balance each month. I have a friend who makes a check payment to her account the same day she makes her charge. Bottom line it’s NOT the card to revolve a balance but great perks!! Also, unless you use a gift card along with purchase they can pull up your transactions on your charge. I found this is an issue with Target also. So if using gift card of any type pay for that amount separate so they can locate your purchases for returns.

I only use my kohl’s when they give $15 kohl’s cash for every $50 and with those , I buy everything else and the rewards this yr I had 90 in kohl’s cash with that bought 2 outfits for my nephews and 2 for
My nieces paid only tax, and with my rewards bought 2 nutribullets 79.99 using 45 in rewards and $ 60 in kohl’s cash picked in store and got my $20 for each rebate got email there processing my rebates allready !! And I only shop
Macy’s when they give Macy’s cash cards paid cash for some of my stuff everything on sale and got 300 total in Macy’s cash cards !! Bought Godiva, perfume , Mac and will, get Macy’s money in February – and only bought stuff at children’s place when they have $20 for every $20 that I bought , I may not be able to use the children’s place $$$ have over 300 only because , I’m having surgery the 28 😭But thinking of a way !!! This is when I get my nephews the jackets 3 in 1 for next yr and shoes, boots , sizes bigger if I see that I have a problem I will give them away !! Thank you Collin

The problem with children place, gap, or old Navy cash is that you can only use it like a coupon..its not cash. You must spend more money to use that money…and more often than not, the sales are slow that period.
Kohls cash and rewards also…you take forever to aquire the cash and rewards and they take it off your total prior to any coupon code.

Note that if you are a AAA member, you can log into Kohls from the AAA member website (discounts tab, may need to search for Kohls) after you sign into AAA. When you purchase online, a small percentage of your purchase will go towards your AAA membership renewal. It isn’t much, but does add up. JCPenny is also on their list.
