Will any of the apps “read” the book to you out loud? For example, if my 5-year old wanted to sit and open the books himself, would it read them out loud?
No, these won’t. However they do have some free Kindle apps with books that do, some free, some not. The Little Critter apps are free & read to them. They also have the Charlie Brown holiday ones that occasionally are offered for free. I’m sure there are a bunch more if you look thru the app store.

Wow! Thanks! we thought we had read almost all of the Berenstain Bears I wonder if these are new titles? The only ones we already own are the Easter and Thanksgiving ones
No, some of them are really old. “Life With Papa” was in a kids meal back when I was a kid, and I’m in 36! The “Nursery Tails” cover is the way they were originally drawn, so it may even be one of the ones where Brother Bear was an only child.
After I posted this I started to think maybe it’s older ones, especially since they are all Stan and Jan. So awesome!
