Thank you! I almost signed up for this a few weeks ago but decided to hold off in the hopes that they would have a special. Also – the credit applies to either the monthly fee or the annual fee (you chose how you want to be billed when you sign up.)

Perfect! Happy you could grab the deal Jenny! You’re most welcome!

Does the credit come automatically or after 30 days?

      Need to know too

      • Jenny

The credit is applied to future prime music bills. So it would be applied automatically to your subscription until it runs out. It is not a general amazon credit.

Does anyone know if this will stack with the $20 credit I received for ordering a CD in November? (Thanks for that tip Collin!)

On the sign up page, the monthly option shows only this current promotion applying, while the annual option shows both applying (together taking $40 off the price)

        Great!! Thanks!

Does anyone know how much longer Amazon is going to be offering the $20 credit for Prime Members?

Please be aware that the $20 credit promotion was only applied to new customers who sign up between Dec 23-30. I was signing up on Dec 19 and today Amazon customer service replied I was not eligible to the $20 credit.

Ugh, bummed I signed up on the 19th too when this deal posted. Assumed it would go through automatically but I saw the charge on my bank statement today. Wish I had gotten the $20 credit to enjoy the service a couple more months but I’m cancelling after this billing cycle. To me, even for $2 more per month, Spotify has Amazon Music Unlimited beat right now. They have way more playlists, you can share with your friends more easily, and their Discover Weekly and Release Radar is priceless when looking for new tunes.

Side note, I had trouble with the Audible promo last month, too. Probably won’t go for the next deal like this since it’s never a sure thing anymore.
