My coupon buddy and I have chased coupon deals for years together when we decided about 4 months ago to use those efforts to start a Facebook page (Karen & Gwen’s Coupon Savings For Seniors) that would allow us to give back monthly to senior citizens on fixed incomes/limited transportation in our community.
We delivered baskets this month for Christmas, and if we know that those receiving baskets have animals, we even include pet food for them.

I wanted to say thank you for finding all the “little” deals especially this last month. I work at a University and there is always someone I run into that I wish I had a little something for to brighten their day.
Along with my regular gifts this year (many comprised of Hip2Save great deals), I have added “drive by” gifts. For that student that arrives early and sets up the lab for class. For the guy in HR that helped you fill out the RIGHT paperwork needed for reimbursement. The office assistant, the mail room guy….. And since each cost me about 60¢ (VIA Peppermint Mocha and Hershey Cookie Layer Bar)… It is easy to spread the joy.

Thanks Collin for all the hints and tips for discounts and freebies throughout the year. So many free full size items this year including those from the family dollar friday offers. This helped to make several gift bags for this christmas. I was able to collect many items from the Kroger friday freebies to donate to Dare to Care this year. Happy Holidays to you & your family.

My middle school students were so generous gifting all sorts of Christmas candy along with all sorts of other goodies. I decided to make treat bags with the individually wrapped candy and add a “Random Act of Christmas Kindness” label I found on Pinterest. As I was handed my receipt from a cashier at a grocery store or drive-thru window, I thanked them & handed a treat bag. The surprise on their faces was my “gift” in return!
Lovely ! I went to Walmart today they have tresseme shampoo and conditioner and a mousse in a package for 9.99 and there is a cpn attached 3 dlrs off ! Lady that works said there clearance them today ! I just thought about this since in this post I saw tresseme , well done lady’s , I told this young girl about the Macy’s cash cards and jcpenney and gave her this website name and she so grateful ! She got 50 in Macy’s cash and used a $25 of 100 cpn Macy’s walked out atmost 100 In savings and she said she saw the deal about target on the Barbie princess horse and her sister got 2 of them / jcpenney she got cpns too she said she loved this saving !! So grateful , also I had Walgreens points and used them to get the toys buy 2 get one free bought forever after high dolls , monster dolls , and hot wheels , also Walmart has by front of store boxes of princess barbies , monster high dolls $5 , thank you Collin lady’s and all the hip2save friends
We just delivered 85 gifts to the nursing home, the pure joy they had was amazing! Thanks to Hip2Save we were able to provide most of the gifts from various deals all year on this site.

It’s nothing big, but my 7 year old daughter and I wrap individual popcorns in snowman printed papers and give them to “grandma & grandpas” while shopping! It’s so much fun to watch their smile when she says Merry Christmas and hands them to them!! This is our 3rd year doing it. We also give candy canes to the kids we see. 🙂
