I just left there. I picked up several Santa sacks, gift bags, paper plates, and decorative bows for our outdoor railings. Paid $11. Everything was 50 cents. Pretty excited.

I went this morning. I went to the smaller one because they had more last year and they were pretty cleared out. I did pick up several gift bags, they only had a few designs to pick from.
I just come from Dollar Tree they still had lots of gift bags, money cards and Christmas tins all for .50$.
Joann fabrics 75% off here in Florida. Got some great deals on gifts boxes. The really nice ones with the magnet closure. For 2.50 each or less.
Our dollar tree told me after Valentine’s Day that they did not sell their holiday decor at 50% off. They pack it away.

Got wrapping paper, decorations & mugs.
I went to 2 stores in the morning. They were in the process of packing most of Christmas stuff in the boxes. The only things that were still available were battery operated things, candy and gift bags. I used to get cute Christmas stockings for 50 cents each year, and this was the 1st year there weren’t any for sale. In the past years, they could have clearance Christmas things for up to a week past the holiday.
That’s kind of a bummer. At least give a week or so after Christmas. My dollar tree is usually halfway neat but I had popped into a different dollar tree a week or so before Christmas. It was a complete dump. Looked like a night after a wild party like shown in the movies. Boxes were thrown everywhere, barely could walk through, complete disarray. It was like ripped up paper pieces thrown in every aisle. Only thing missing were empty beer bottles….The management must not care or it wouldn’t look so awful.
The dollar tree I went to had the 50% off Christmas items! And I went there when they were in the process of condensing the Christmas items into one area, so they had a pile of empty boxes to throw out and I saw they had put a few perfectly new gift wrap rolls in the pile that weren’t sellable because they had lost the barcode on them. I asked an employee if they were throwing out those rolls of gift wrap and she said yes and let me have them for free! Win! 😁
