Gah, my parent’s range just died and this looked good, but no self cleaning.
We bought all kenmore appliances a year and a half ago, and have had a lot of problems with them. Even under warranty it was a headache trying to get them out here to fix it. Our fridge had 3 service calls under warranty, and my husband had to fix it 2 times after. Our microwave had to be fixed once, and I still think it doesn’t work the way it should. Our washing machine doesn’t seem to clean as well as it should. Just my personal review of the brand and sears service.

I agree with your opinion on Kenmore’s washers. We moved into our home last year & I insisted on Kenmore washer & dryer since the ones we had at our previous home had lasted 12+ years & were still going strong. Big mistake! Most of the time our clothes come out dirtier than they went in. The dryer is acceptable; it works as advertised, but these will be the last Kenmore appliances we buy.
