My recommendation? Pass on the towels! I got some around Black Friday, and they’re already falling apart. I’ve bought The Big One brand items before, and it seems like they’ve cut quality drastically (not sure about the other items though). There’s times when you want to save money… and times when saving money actually costs you more, like when you have to buy new towels a month later!

I agree…..pass on the towels. I had the same experience with these towels this year. They were awful and shed all over the house while falling apart.
True, these towels don’t hold up well, but also, how long do towels last? I purchased the ones that were posted here awhile ago the Lacoste towels from macys. I purchased the bath towels and the beach towels. they are high quality and I was able to get a good deal.

I love my towels!! Between two bathrooms I have around 20 of these. NO problems at all. I have the teal, tan, and some black.
The only small thing is the amount of dryer lint for the first few washes!

We like these towels too but we prefer thin towels. We haven’t bought any in about 2 years so I don’t know if they’ve changed the quality.
I have gotten these on the previous deals you’ve posted and I love them. The colors are so pretty and I am really happy with them. I also got some for my daughter for her first apartment. I agree about the lint for the first few washes but they do hold up well. Thanks Collin!

I bought the big one blankets and they melted in the dryer. Everyone had great reviews on them. I’m guessing it’s not the same quality as years passed. It was nasty blanket after a wash.

I bought these towels and they hold up fine, they don’t fall apart but they do get a lot of strings coming off them. I just trim them up once in a while. They are thin which I prefer. Great colors and even better price. I’m going to order some more!
We love The Big One towels as well, that’s all we’ve used for 10+ years. We do prefer thin towels at our home 🙂

The stitching on my Cuddl Duds minky throw has come loose and unraveled and I’ve only had it such a short time. This was #1 on my Christmas list and I’m so disappointed in the workmanship.
While on my soapbox, Same with Disney fleece jackets from Disneystore. Huge hole in seam torn when it was brand new right out of the box. Company told me Too bad, it’s been over 30 days. Sure it has..people order in Oct for Christmas and glance to make sure it looks right. From now on my orders will be inspected with a fine tooth comb and be sent back for even the slightest flaw. I’m so tired of getting shafted by companies for the almighty dollar. Guess nobody takes pride in their product anymore.
Kohls has the best return policy of almost any store. I would take them back and let them know of your concerns. I’m sure they will make it right for you.
