Anyone know if they make one for cats? πŸ˜‚ – serious question πŸ˜‰

    • Nicole

no. They don’t have one for kitties πŸ™ but if you adopt a cat from them they give you a coupon book that has a few cat items in it.

This guide really is a great deal. What collin didn’t mention in her post is you get a free 15lb bag of food and a free puppy bath in their salon along with all the coupons. The cost of the bath alone makes up for the cost of the book. Plus you walk out the door with a free bag of food. I bought a puppy book every month for my dog when she was little because its such a awesome deal for those coupons alone.

Sweet! Thanks for the feedback Nicole!

    • Jen

are you sure they’re out to take? our petsmarts have them sitting around in display racks, but the corners have the price printed on them….ive said something before bc the way they’re displayed, they look free.

This is the regular price for these coupon books that are in the store usually by check out. Once in a while they have them on sale fir $15. That’s when I stock up .

If you have a PetCo around, their new puppy or dog books are free. Includes a bag of free food and many 50% off food coupons.

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

When exactly do the coupons expire?

This is an old discussion but I just thought I would add my 2 cents. I adopted a dog who turned out to be pregnant so now I have my dog and 4 young puppies. I asked Petco for their free book and saved quite a bit of money for a variety of puppy foods because they have multiple coupons for numerous brands. Out of curiosity, I bought the $19.99 Petsmart Puppy Guide because the salesman assured me that they honored the coupons for 1 year from purchase despite expiration date. He dated and initialed the book. He also kindly applied the free bag of food (-$15 max) to my order. My opinion is that the Petsmart book would be be better suited to the brand new dog owners and for those who would use the grooming/training/veterinary services at Petsmart. Pet owners like myself who have had previous dogs often already have a selection of cages, beds, and other pet accessories which are the other coupons in the PS book. Either old or new dog owner, the book would probably pay for itself if you are a regular Petsmart shopper. I am very happy that Petco offers their coupon book for free and I will make a point of visiting there more often even though it is less convenient for my location. As always, I thank Collin and other contributors for pet savings info. πŸ™‚
