Want to help your kiddos earn a little money?

Head over to KidzEyes (rated A+ with the BBB!) where they conduct market research among 6-12 year old kids! Note that this research is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

KidzEyes has clients that are interested in hearing kids’ opinions in order to provide better products and services for children. And sometimes they are interested in hearing parents’ opinions too, in which case, you will help your children earn additional KidzPoints which can be redeemed for cash or prizes!

KidzEyes

Here’s how it works…

* Kids complete the surveys that they receive from KidzEyes via email (surveys are emailed to both the kid’s and parent’s email addresses). Upon completion of the survey, kids earn KidzPoints that can be turned in for cash or prizes (100 KidzPoints = $1). Most surveys are worth between 50 and 1,000 points, sometimes more…the longer the survey, the more points they award.

The KidzPoints system works kind of like a bank account and KidzEyes will even keep track of your KidzPoints in an online piggy bank…how awesome is that!?

* After 1,000 points ($10) is reached, your child can cash them in or they can save them up for something special. When the points are cashed in, your kiddos will then receive a check in the mail, in care of the parent or legal guardian.

* Each month, kids will also receive the KidzEyes SuperPoll survey which enters them into a sweepstakes where they could win up to 10,000 bonus KidzPoints (worth $100)!

PARENTS REGISTER –> HERE <–

* In order for your kids to become a member of KidzEyes, you (i.e. the parent/guardian) need to complete the brief registration survey found here. You will be able to register multiple kids at a time, so the sign-up survey only needs to be completed one time per household. The registration process takes about 10 minutes AND as a thank you for completing the registration process, KidzEyes will award each kiddo you register with 500 KidzPoints (= $5)!

* Only families that currently live in the United States are eligible to sign up for KidzEyes.

Highly recommend KidzEyes! My eight year old has been doing surveys for them for almost two years, and he really enjoys his “part time job”! He has made over $160 with them! I usually sit next to him to answer any questions he may have while completing the survey, but it is very user friendly, and the older he gets, the less help he needs.

The rewards for these surveys are fair and we just completed one that paid more than $30. Surveys that don’t pay a lot usually only take a couple of minutes so I think even they are worth doing. And many times they are just pre-qualifiers that lead to more money.

My 3 kids have been doing KidzEyes for a few years now and they really like it! The surveys are quick and easy, no more then 10 minutes. Also when they turn 13, they automatically get signed up for Teeneyes.

Has anyone tried this before? Is it worth doing? I have a 9-year-old son that would love to do it, but we have a pretty full schedule so if it doesn’t seem to add up fast or the rewards are very low and infrequent, I don’t know know worth it it is to do. Thanks!

My daughter has been doing it for about 4 years. It doesn’t seem like she gets many surveys but has made about $100. (They also send parent surveys and the credit goes on her account.) It’s really easy and you can just keep saving the money they’ve earned and then cash it out when you’re ready.

My 7.5 year old daughter has been a member for several months maybe longer. At first she was super excited about the idea and I thought it would be a fun way for her to earn a little spending money but I can’t remember a single survey that wasn’t at least half or entirely for me to do. I haven’t paticipated in any other survey programs but to me the surveys have been time consuming for the amount of points you get. There was one that was kind of fun – it was about 50/50 asking both of us about some Happy Meal toys – the rest have been tedious. All in all, I’d rather give my daughter $3 for doing a few chores around the house than complete a 20 minute survey myself that earns her points (and somehow I think the lesson is missed if she gets ‘paid’ for my ‘work’). Although she’s a good reader with an advanced vocabulary and could read and answer most of the surveys on her own, she is on the younger side of the range so maybe they’re more kid-centric for older, tween-y half… I can also see how this could be more beneficial for a family with a different money-to-time balance. Two working-outside-the-home parents means quality time is often our most limited resource.

My daughter and I do it. Some surveys are for parents and kids to do together, some just for kids. We haven’t received an invite in a couple of months, but it’s pretty hassle free. Surveys pay a couple of bucks for 5-15 minutes of your time, so not too bad. We’ve collected almost $20 since June. We actually won the monthly sweepstakes one time, and I didn’t realize it until I went to check the account balance a couple of months later and had all these points!

How cool! Thanks for the awesome review!

My son has been doing this for about 4/5 years. He really likes doing the surveys. He likes that someone wants to pay him for his honest opinions. πŸ™‚ Some surveys take about 15+ minutes, some are shorter. In the beginning, I had to read each survey question and answers to him (which is allowed), because he just couldn’t get what he was supposed to do. He got to the point that he could get through the surveys easily. Some of the topics are about food, shopping, movies, tv shows, commercials – topics kids would be interested in. Over the years, he has completed many surveys, but now I guess he has “aged out”, at 13. Now, I have to look at his profile… I’m not sure if he was taken out of the pool

Thanks for the feedback Cindy! Good to know he has enjoyed it over the years!

My son just won the sweepstakes a few days ago and got $40!! He really enjoys doing the surveys and loves to know how much money he gets for them.

      Sweet! Thanks for sharing!

My 9 year old daughter enjoys it, and she used her $23 check to buy Christmas presents for our family. She loved being able to use her own money! My 11 year old son doesn’t get as many surveys, so he only got a check for $11, but he was still happy to have that extra money. We’ve been doing it for about a year.
