Air frying technology circulates hot air evenly around the food, resulting in uniform cooking with the same crisp taste. Perfect for onion rings, fries, steak, chicken and more. Because air frying uses no oil, there is less odor, less splatter and less mess as compared to traditional deep fryers. The adjustable temperature control and timer make operation simple. The 2.5-liter removable basket holds up to two pounds of food and is nonstick coated for easy cleaning.
That was in the black friday deal of walmart and i was standing thr to grab it… ohhhh well how easily i could have got it now 😉
Out of stock
Bummer!
Out of stock already!
Yes, out of stock.
well that was fast!
This did not work very well. I got it on black friday. I tried making chicken nuggets in it and they were still frozen after after 40 minutes. The estimated time was like 15 if i remember right.
Yes, I had the same issue. I don’t know how these things get such great reviews. It’s really just a tiny convection oven. The shape of them doesn’t make sense because if you stack the food on top of each other in the basket it doesn’t cook through. It’s the same result as if you put food in a bowl instead of a cookie sheet in your oven. It only works if you barely cover the bottom of the pan. Maybe 6 chicken nuggets OR a handful of fries at a time.
I got this one on black Friday and have been disappointed. Tried to make homemade fries and they were gross. Found some tips and recipes online and still not a huge fan. Was hoping this would help with my cravings for fried french fries but nope. Tastes entirely different
Was it this brand?
Farberware. It’s the exact one and was this exact price on black friday.
Thanks!
This is the knockoff version of the Actifryer, which was retailing in the $300 range when it came out years ago. It works great and quickly, though it doesn’t make four servings at one time. (And you will not mistake the food for true deep fried food, but it is a good substitute if you are opposed to deep frying.) I was wondering how well these really worked. . . . And kicking myself in the butt about the price.
I don’t know abt chicken but u did French fries and fish and it came out yummy
I agree. Just returned mine. Takes 30 minutes for French frys!!
Bummer! Sorry to hear that Becky! 🙁 Thanks for the feedback!
Mine works great! Healthy fried chicken in 20 minutes!
Good! Thanks for sharing Lauren!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine! I have a picky eater who is on the spectrum and it is so easy to warm up a handful of tater tots for him or nuggets for him and his brother. I use it for french fries all the time too. It cooks faster than using the whole oven and it is one of my “couldn’t live without it” appliances. It doesn’t “fry” chicken but will cook it enough to make it taste good but I mostly use it for side dishes rather than entrees. I tried to buy this at walmart.com for a gift and it was out of stock and I filled out the notify me when it is in and they actually did, but by the time I got home from work to order it, it was gone.
It is back in stock this morning. I ordered one for my picky eater who is also on the spectrum 🙂
Thanks Rebecca, I’ll grab one now! And, yes, it surely helps when I can throw some tater tots in for him while I am making everyone else’s dinner!
Whoa! Can’t believe the negative reviews of this airfryer? I got mine a week after black Friday for the same price and I literally use it every day! It’s unbelievable how fast it cooks nuggets, fries, and I love cooking veggies in it and reheating food we’ve gotten from takeout! I couldn’t live without this thing in my life and it stays on my counter because it is that amazing! I even cooked a thin steak in it because it showed it on the front of the box and in 3 min I had a super juicy seasoned steak!
I agree! I don’t understand the bad reviews. I had to play with mine some to learn the best cooking time for each thing but I use it a lot now! It cooks frozen things very quickly. You can google tips and learn ways to use them to get the best results but it was worth every penny to me!
Same here….I guess you either love or hate it….me, I LOVE it! I should leave it on the counter, because I pull it out at least 5 times a week….all weekend, I do leave it out as I use it for meal after meal!
It’s available for pick up in my area.. ordered one… thank you…
Oh awesome! Happy you could score one Dee! YW!
I got this one for Black Friday since I couldn’t ever pay so much for the original 😂. It stays in my counter because I do love to use it but while it is difficult on wht to use it with; it still does a good job! Side note- it would be a miracle if any appliance would actually “deep fry ” any food. You all need to understand that how could it be possible with no oil? This thing basically just dries out the food. While some chicken do sure come out delicious, I feel it needs a lot of seasoning to my taste. That’s just me though!
We have this (got it on Black Friday) and we are absolutely in love with it! We’ve made frozen fries, home made fries, wings, chicken nuggets, pizza bites, broccoli bites and everything turned out wonderfully! So happy with this purchase!
I got this on black friday online and im so glad i did.i have made tandoori chicken drumsticks..chicken tenders, chicken kabbobs fries chicken ,fried fish ,french fries and lots of things.i make and eat guiltfree that it doesnt need oil and its healthy. U just need to use with proper instructions and its very easy n convinient.
I got one for pick up at my local store. Can’t wait to see how it works. Thanks for posting the deal!
Back in stock this morning😊
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! Just updated!
We got one of these on BF and love it, yes you do have to rotate them often to keep food evenly cooked. But makes so many different things very fast even frozen. Can make Fresh fries in less then 12 minutes a batch.
We love it. Being from Southeast Louisiana, we love our deep fried foods. This is a great substitute. I have air fried breaded fish, breaded wings and made homemade fries. No, it’s not deep drying, but no it doesn’t have all the unhealthy oil and smell either.
I am very interested in purchasing one as I love fried cauliflower which has to be dipped in a milk egg bath, then fried. Does anyone suggest that this product would be good for this type of recipe?
I got one for 39.00 even though the price listed was 69.00. Im not even sure how I did it. I asked the guy if they had the one for sale at 59.00 and he said he could give me this one for 39.00. I’ll take it. I wanted one that was light blue online but it was not in the store. Regardless…ive made chips, fries, bread, pumpkin, and sweet potato bread so far…but its been less than a week so Im gonna make tons more food. No oil, less fat. Im gonna make some squash fries in it tonight…if there is such a thing.
i picked mine up yesterday and it has no Manuel I even called farberware and they didn’t have one I don’t know what all the buttons are on there I know the steak fish and chicken but not the rest can someone please tell me what the other buttons are for cooking
i have the same issue no manual we tried to make french fries they were not cooked the whole way through i set the time as shown on the machine so i tried again and this time they were burnt
