  Darn, if you lived near us- I’d just give you our Thomas table. My kids make huge, elaborate railroads/stations that they never use the table. The Thomas table is not big enough.

  We also have the Imaginarium table from TRU and LOVE it!!! Has been going strong for 6+ years and 4 kids now!!

   We have an imaginarium from toys r us. I cant remember what we spent, maybe 75.00. It was a big hit for Christmas.

   Does anyone know if the trains that come with the starter set are wooden or plastic? It seems that “wooden railway” refers to the track itself, not necessarily the trains. It does not specify in the product description on the ToysRUs site. Thanks in advance!

  They are wooden, to run on the wooden track.

  The take and plays are plastic and run on a plastic track.
