I like the selection of products in Birchbox. The biggest thing for me is the stellar customer service. Any time I’ve had an issue, they respond and take care of it and then some.
I think this is an awesome deal! I love my Birchbox! Since it’s kind of hard to know what to expect if you haven’t been a subscriber before, here’s what was in my free (gorgeous rifle paper design) box:

I like ipsy a lot more than birchbox. Birchbox has tiny samples and isn’t really worth the $10, which is why they run this special regularly. Ipsy is more makeup, and birchbox is more skin and haircare, so it also depends on what you’re looking for. One of the best is boxycharm, 5 full size products for $21/month.

I just cancelled ipsy after being subscribed for 6 months. I prefer Sephora a play!. It’s the same price and they only give you samples of the high end products that they sell. There’s a lot of other little perks as well.

I did Birchbox for a little over a year, and even though the samples were tiny I did find some good products out of there. I stopped subscribing after about 14 months because they started to repeat the samples they sent me (probably ran out of things to send to someone with my profile). It was definitely a good box, and a good way to learn about some brands I wasn’t familiar with. When I did it, you earned points every month with your subscription that you could spend on an out-right purchase from their site, and even when you quit subscribing you can still use those points.

I signed up around Christmas when they did this deal then. I’ll be honest the sizes were disappointing, thought they would have been bigger. They remind of the travel sizes at Walmart. So I’m really not sure if worth $10. The free box sadly had items for Curly hair which I have poker straight hair so those were useless. I didn’t cancel because I figure give it another month or so see if it will be better?
Same here, the two boxes I received had barely anything in them, nothing like the photos.
I was so disappointed I didn’t even feel like trying any one time use samples yet.
Reminded me of free samples, very small tubes, no room for ingredients list.
Is it just the case when they do two of them and try to make up for the “loss”?
The next month I got 4 or samples. Again not that big. More than one use but more like travel sizes. I just signed up for the Walmart box for $5. Lol welll see how that is.
if you have a target card do there beauty boxes every month. there products are excellent. I seperate them put them in my travel sample size drawer .if someone stops by have a little something for them. plus you get free shipping and extra 5 percent off. and some of there products are full size. usually there 5.00 or 7.00 box are worth 20-40.00 each. walmart also does one ocassionaly. there are 5.00 a box. sometimes theirs are not worth other times they are. they also make great gifts.
