Looking for a fun, homemade Valentine?

Just pair a candy Ring Pop with this cute “You’re a Gem of a Friend” FREE printable Valentine’s day card I’ve created for Hip2Save readers. It’s an easy idea the kids can help with!

To use first punch a hole in a card, and the top of a candy Ring Pop package, then tie together using string or twine. That’s it! Super simple.

Even though my kids are getting older, they still LOVE a good Ring Pop and are super excited to hand these out to their friends!

Heads up my local target had candy on sale and quite a few bag of ring pops. Keep your eyes peeled if you are headed there. This was in the food section. YMMV I’m in so cal

Any ideas for those who are not allowed candy or any other food items at school

We did a glow stick. Pinterest had a free printable.

My oldest three are doing playdough (preschool) and race cars/Shopkins beados (kinder and 2nd). If you find deals (got all of these things off of Hip2Save) it is actually just as cheap as buying candy, making goodie bags, etc.

      Play doh is always good!

      • Rima

Sorry to say, but playdoh does not work with kids allergic to wheat.

        Cute!

I did puzzle piece erasers and mad my own printable that says, “Friends Fit together”. Last year I did a deck of playing cards and printed 4 different sayings for them.

        Very cute!

I got squeeze pouches of apple sauce and there’s a printable saying “you’re my main squeeze valentine”, I thought it was so cute!

Last year I got rings with a big “gem” on it that was an eraser. They sold them at Target for Valentine’s Day in class sizes packs. They were a big hit with 1st grade – boys and girls alike!

For once, I’m actually ahead this year, already got the haribo gummies (only 3.49/25ct box) lol

Admin – do you allow links on here? I have an Etsy shop with tons of adorable Valentine printables, but wasn’t sure what your policy is on posting links???

We just printed these to get our valentines ready. Thank you!

      Hooray! ❤️

I am using my left over ring pops to make these valentines for my daughter. I recently had a booth set up at a wedding expo. I used blue tiffany ring boxes with ring pops inside and my business cards tied to the tops with ribbons! They were a HUGE hit with adults so I can only imagine the kids will love a ring pop too!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh how fun! Great idea Sherry!

I would love to use this for Easter instead of Valentines Day. To bad you can’t edit.
