Just purchased this jacket in purple and it’s my new favorite! So very soft! Definitely recommend

You’re paying for the name brand, you can find similar jackets for way less

As a runner, I work my workout gear HARD and often. I need clothes that are high quality, can withstand a lot of activity, and can wash easily and often. I used to think that other brands could hold up; however, I’ve yet to find anything that compares to Lululemon and/or Atheleta. This is just my personal opinion for the level of exercise that I engage in. 🙂

Totally agree, especially for fitted items! All the Lululemon and Athleta items I’ve bought in the past few years still look pretty much new even after frequent wearing (my favorite Athleta tights got worn at least 2-3 times a week for about a year). On the other hand, a pair of Fabletics bottoms I bought around the same time as my favorite Athleta tights that looked comparable in the beginning, already has a hole in the crotch and is visibly thinner in all the heavy wear areas 🙁

I agree with Sara. For general workouts I’m not too picky, but when I started running I also realized I definitely work my clothes hard. Athleta and Lululemon offer a ton of little features that make a huge difference but don’t appear to be special unless you really need them. Things like unstinkable fabrics, special pockets, seams or fabrics that don’t chafe or hold specific gear I need, reflectivity for low light runs so I am visible to cars. If you’re just looking for a jacket to wear around town or to and from the gym it may easily seem overpriced, but they make really nice stuff if you’re in the market for good workout gear.

I”m considering this but did you guys read the reviews? I do want it, but I’m not sure now.

FWIW … I just got a thin fitted athletic/runner’s vest with a high soft neck at Target on clearance for $9.98! From $34.99. There’s SO much stuff on clearance right now.
