Grab boxes at Michaels are only $4 this year but some are way bigger boxes. Can’t wait to dig in! This was just one of the $4 boxes…19 t-shirts and 2 signs! I got mostly t-shirts, but the big one is large tubes of ornaments with probably 5 or 6 of them inside. And one is cards, ribbons, scented pine cones and kids magic erase boards!

Are these how they get rid of left over Christmas stuff? I went to our michaels last week… bunch of odds and end stuff.
Yes it is. I went last week and asked if they were doing it this year. The girl told me there wasn’t enough left over for them to do that.
I got three boxes and they are awesome. 16 adult coloring books, tons of Christmas ribbon and I think 7 boxes of Christmas cards

I was able to get the last bag left at my store. Yes, some junk, but I ended up keeping 2/3 of the bag & just dropped the rest off at Goodwill. Well worth the $4, thank you! 🙂

Mine just had plastic bags in Long Island NY ..Got 5 adult coloring books for$4 the rest were filled with mutiple boxes of christmas cards

Thank you so much for posting Collin! I picked up two mystery boxes! Both of my boxes contained large K’nex building sets for boys and girls and pokemon shirts and adult coloring books! For fun, I looked up the value on the K’nex sets and both are listed on Amazon for $24.55! I was super excited to get these, as I will be saving these for my son and daughters birthdays!

I picked up some bags today and lucked out that I got a 7 ft prelight tree for $4. Also had some wreaths and garland that were like $60 each in groups of 2 or 3 for $4 as well!
My store still had some boxes left tonight!

My store has 2 boxes of Christmas picks left. The boxes are about 2.5 ft x 1 ft size, so I’m thinking that’s a lot of picks. And there are boxes of Xmas cards, and some other Xmas stuff, which I have no need. Maybe next year…..
Disappointed. Mine were bags full of random Christmas junk (cardboard glitter “y” ornament anyone? ) 😀 last years bags at least contained mugs n ribbons and stuff I used for gifting / decorating.

They put them out at the front of the store.
Spent $12 on 3 bags….total value of items $352. 11 boxes of xmas cards, 6 ribbons, 6 cat toys, 3 watches, santa headband, 3 cups/mug, 7 wood ornament/sticks, 3 Pkg tags, 2 ornaments, bag of Mickey buttons, 2 sticker bags, 1 Journaling card & sticker Pkg, 8 wax stick kits=1 happy girl. More than I was hoping for. Thanks Collin for the heads up!😉🤗
Once items go to 90% then they do grab bags. usually it is the seasonal stuff so that is why it was Christmas “junk” as some say. To a lot it is a good deal and a way to clean the store to make room for the new items.
WHEEEE!!! I just picked up 15 boxes from two Long Island Michaels.. you should actually call before you go and they will tell you if they have them. I only opened a few really quick but it’s WELL worth it..I’m a craft hoarder so I will use the items, resell or give away/donate to school! I love Michaels does this!
My store just brought out two giant bins while I was there this morning. So don’t give up if you’re interested! Tons of really good stuff, including full-size light up garlands, Christmas signs, plenty of craft stuff, and tons of big K’nex sets.
I just scored 6 bags with a variety of awesome stuff in Rockville, MD. Mostly Christmas items- some that I eyed at full price at the beginning of the season! Every bag had 3 boxes of Christmas cards, 3-5 rolls of wired ribbon, signs (as pictured in the original post), and or ornaments, etc. My favorite bags were 9′-12′ faux pine garland or two sets of 3′ crossed skis with faux pine swag and checkered ribbon (these both had cards and rolls of ribbon, too!) TOTAL SCORE.
still several boxes in Brighton, MI….looks like mostly ornaments left.
I spent $4 on a grab bag and got back $90 worth of items. My bag included an adult L Pokemon shirt, 2 trinket trays, 1 coffee mug, 2 boxes of Christmas cards,1 box of ornament hooks and 2 bottles of Scentsicles scented ornaments (which are basically scented Christmas smelling sticks). It was totally worth it to me but I had to kind of dig thru the bags to make sure that it was stuff that I wanted. Almost all of the bags that I went thru had the Scentsicles scented ornaments in it, along with boxes of Christmas cards and other small ornaments. A couple of bags had mini 2017 planners and small thank you type cards.
Does anyone know do they ever do grab bags any other time of the year?

Today, they had bags of glass ornaments & xmas cards boxes. I got a 3 boxes taped together that had 12 nice red berry sprigs in each box. They retailed for 1.49/sprig.
Went to Bay Shore Long Island store and every bag had Christmas cards. But went to North Babylon store and purchased
two bags: a few metal letter ornaments, green star ornaments, a makeup train case, and an adult coloring book.
I bought my very first boxes yesterday 3 to be exact I got a very nice day planner and a bunch of Valentine’s items and a grand total of 28 boxes of Valentine’s day cards lol good thing I have school aged grandsons and nieces. But does anyone know how often Michaels does their grab bag/boxes?
