All stores in my area reduce coupon down to price of item even you have 20 more items. Target, Walmart, publix, cvs all like that here.
My Walmart does not. They’re corporate coupon policy allows for overage.
My walmart allows for overage however you can only use one like coupon per shopping trip which means you have to stand in line twice if you want to buy two items and use two coupons. I pretty much stopped shopping at Walmart when they started that rule. I might have to go and make my brothers stand in line behind me so I can get all three since I have three coupons. LOL
