I purchased one of the $16 ones from the last deal about a week ago and got mine a couple days ago and I have really frizzy curly hair and it works great in about five minutes it was tamed down and then after a couple times through it was straight not as straight as A flat iron but super quick and easy . To do my hair with a flat iron takes a long time and I don’t do it very often because of that. I am super excited to keep using this especially for the price.

I have this one bought from amazon. It doesn’t straight your hair like straightener. It helps to smooth waves but that’s it. It also breaks too much hair. I wanted to return it but seller refunded my money and asked me to keep product. Still I do not use it

I had one and I too have curly, frizzy, colored hair. This by far is a waste of money, if your hair isn’t already straight or is straight this will work fine. But it doesn’t work on curly, afro-ish, thick, frizzy hair.

Don’t buy this brush if you have thick hair,all it will do is pull out your hair.Works good if you have thin hair.

I asked my hairdresser about one, bc I wanted to try it…she says don’t waste your money, and I listened.
I bought this last week for my girls. I think some of the confusion with this product is it looks like a brush. I bought it for my 9 and 12 year old and they love it. If you, want a smooth look then use a flat iron. My younger child has medium thickness blonde hair and it works great. She has used it almost every day since we got it. My 12 year has thick, curly hair down to her waist. It work great with her hair as well. You have to brush the hair first, then hold the hair taught and slowly brush the hair. It took about 5 minutes to do her hair and she has a ton. It was not perfectly straight, but look cute. It will pull your hair out if you use it as a brush. So make sure you brush it and all will be well. I used it for a quick straightening after a workout and it worked great.

I have straight hair and it was great! My husband has curly locks and it smoothed out his hair and made it wavy. I’m sure with a few more passes it would have even improved more.
I bought one PYT brand on HauteLook & I like it. I have a lot naturally wavy fine hair & as long as I condition it well & brush it well first it does great. I’ve used it at night while watching tv lol ! If you try to use it as a brush to detangle it will pull hairs out .
Can someone tell me what the difference is between the 2? I read the description on both but I don’t understand if one is better than the other? Sometimes I wear my hair wavy. It has body & with age has some curl. But it also straightens easily. I do have color treated hair. I’d love to try it but I don’t want to waste my money. I just want something that’s quick & easy for me without having to use a flat iron. They take too much time. And I’m not looking for stick straight. Just more of a natural straight look.
I have thick, coarse hair that gets very frizzy. You MUST brush your hair out BEFORE you use this tool. There’s no way that I could brush my hair with it first. I agree with the positive reviews above. It’s not going to straighten like a flat iron, but it worked well to tame my frizzies. It was totally worth the money.
