This is a steal. Get it and join the Singer Futura Fans group on Facebook. Very helpful group. If I had the extra cash right now I’d buy this machine as a back up for my current machine.
I am far from sewing genius, but in Facebook groups groups it seems some people love their singer embroidered machines, but many dislike the singer brand too. I have a brother one and love it. When making a decision on a sewing machine/embroidery machine see what the biggest hoop size it will do. Many only do 4×4 hoops, which end up limiting you a bit on what you can embroider. There is a fb group called “appliqué corner fanatics”. Join and use the search feature in the group. I bet you can search Singer and see what people are saying. Good luck in whatever you decide!!
My husband bought me the earlier version just before the quartet came out several years ago. I’ve been very pleased with it! It has the small and large hoops. He paid way more than this price for mine. This is a great price!
