I bought these with another deal posted where I think they were down to $11 or $12 for this set. They are ok. Not the best knives, but for such little cost, they’re handy extras to have around.

Thanks so much for your honest review Christine! We sure do appreciate it!

I don’t recommend these. Yes, they are cheap, but if I had it to do over, I wouldn’t have wasted the money on them. They are super sharp the first time you use them, then quickly become so dull they won’t even cut a tomato. My husband sharpens them for me often (professionally), but the edge doesn’t last. He said pretty soon there won’t be anything left to sharpen. It’s not worth the effort!

Darn! Sorry to hear they have not stayed sharp for long 🙁 Thanks for the feedback!

I love the orange blade for produce, but im not sure what the others are for. I have tried them on different things and do not like how they feel or cut.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience Jen!

These are great! I got them on a deal here and whatever, they are fabulous! Seriously!!! They might not be the finest knives in the world but they are better than what I had! Fo sho!!! I feel like I hit the friggin jack pot with these! They are great!!! I’m not sure what you are used to….I’m just your average Jane. Can’t afford the $300 knife set that will be guaranteed for life. These made my DAY!!!

Best review ever! You made my night! 🙂

    • Michelle

      Love mine too! 🙂

  5. Elise

I like mine! Not amazing, but they are more than worth that price!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear you are pleased them them Elise! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Sam

Not worth the money, i bought them and like another reviewer said they are dull after limited uses, nice for a few months. save your money and by one good knife instead

  7. Abby

Absolutely worth the price! It’s a case of you get more than what u pay for. I do sharpen them regularly (with a cheapo sharpener from Target or BB&B), but all knives need sharpening.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the feedback Abby!

I never know what to get. Reviews are so mixed. 🤔 I cook a LOT so maybe these aren’t for me… Looks like a good deal though.

  9. Nina

I purchased these the last time Colin posted the sale for like $11 and they are super cute and super handy and pretty sharp. A Good deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for the great review Nina!

I cook a lot. I think these are worth more than what you pay. I use an old school whetstone for sharpening. Sometimes I slip and have rubbed some of the coating off, but that’s okay. Yes they do need sharpening frequently, but it just takes a second. I have had them for about a year and a half and am still using them. For the price I think they are worth keeping around the house. I’d like to have a nice high-end knife also, but definitely still use these on a daily basis.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Good to know you have gotten great use out of them Meg! Thanks for the feedback!

Got a set for all my nieces/newphews who had all recently graduated from college and moved out on their own. Good starter set and the price is right!

  12. Jamie

I’ve had these for over a year and I’m very pleased with them. At this price you can’t lose. I use them often to cut up fruits and veggies. In my opinion, they are worth buying, even if only to have some extra knives handy.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear they have worked well for you Jamie!
