Be sure to ask the produce dept to cut open an apple before you buy. My Whole Foods in the mid Atlantic region has been having core rot in all their red apples. I don’t buy with out checking.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that! Thanks for the heads up!

is it $2.49 or $2.99 for the original price? you’ve listed both in this one. thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Whoops! $2.49! Thanks for catching! Updating now!

Mine closes permanently next week and I was disappointed nothing is more than the regular and sale prices. As a frequent customer I know their prices. A lot of the employees weren’t their usual selves, but I know many of them only got a 2 week notice. I’m sad to see my regular organic store go. These are very tasty apples, I purchased several and they are already gone!

When I click on the provided Ibotta link, it says that this rebate has expired.

Darn! I am seeing that now as well ๐Ÿ™ Thanks for the heads up!

They are definitely on sale in the Southwest Region (includes Austin) for $1.99 per lb. through today and the digital coupon for 50ยข off per lb. goes through today as well. I work at WFM. Enjoy the savings!

Also, Whole Foods also has this Wallaby yogurt on sale. I believe it’s 2 for $2.50 and with WF coupon, you get $1 off by buying 2. Submit to ibotta for $.75 cash back. Youโ€™re paying $.75 for 2. AND if you purchase Wallaby in another trip, repeat the coupon and ibotta, pay $.75 and THEN you also get $1 back on Wallaby bonus. In that sense, you pay $.50 for 4 and itโ€™s $.125 each ! Now, here is my suggestion for you to download ibotta here: https://ibotta.com/r/loopcck

Love these apples. FYI they are picked in the fall but kept in storage until now for peak flavor. That’s why you only see them in stores a few months a year, So don’t be scared to buy a bunch and keep them in a cool area. It will just get better flavor. Also these are patented apples and owned by Rainer so you can only get them through major stores and not at farmer’s markets etc.
