Does anyone have this? Does this also act like a food processor?

    • Jen

I’ve had this for years. I’ve only used it for grinding meat (which works best if the meat is partially frozen, by the way). I also have a food processor. I would not think that this could replace that. It might be able to do some of the same things, but I use them for 2 very different purposes. I do like the grinder attachment and think it works great!

I use it to grind meat only and LOVE it! I make hamburger from our cow when I run low, I’ll cut up a roast. Or I buy pork at the store and make Italian or breakfast sausage that doesn’t have fillers in it.

    Attachment is OOS.

Deal lingo for out of stock 🙂

Does it work well processing venison into ground meat?

    • Katie

I haven’t tried venison but have used it for chicken, pork and beef if that helps. Works great!

    • hmm

I use mine to grind venison. It works great… Like someone else stated, it works best if the meat is a little frozen when you grind it.

I just ordered the grinder. It is still in stock.

Awesome! I am finding it back again now as well! Just updated the post!

Price has gone back up 🙁

Tip: Use the meat grinder in combo with the vegetable strainer to make homemade applesauce. I make HUGE batches ever year and never have to peel or de-seed the apples….just cook down the quartered apples. Best investment!! I have the tray as well to load up all the apples.

    Awe Man…..OOS again!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! 🙁
