I couldn’t get it to work on Starbucks?

  8. Laura

I love you Collin.. Got myself a $50 Starbucks gift card for $41.37 and then used my Discover Rewards (which I have linked to my Amazon account) to pay for the $41.37. So I paid nothing for a $50 Starbucks gift card. What a great day this is…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, thanks so much for the sweet comment Laura! Super cool you could snag a Starbucks card for Free! 🙂

    The links are not working.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd as all links are working for me as I click through. Are you able to try it in a different browser?

It worked for me on Olive Garden and Gordman’s gift cards! I also put a Kmart card in my card to test it, and it worked on Kmart, too.

Was able to get a DSW gift card! This is super helpful as I’m going to be a bridesmaid this year and the shoes we’re wearing are from there – every little bit counts!

Tried to purchase a $25 Starbucks and $25 Sephora gift card (same as the gift cards mentioned above in the post but just for smaller dollar amounts). They were sold & fulfilled by AVI an Amazon company (just like the two gift cards above in the post) but i couldn’t get the promo to apply. I went ahead and placed my order and contacted amazon. They said that the code did not apply because they were gift cards and I said that the conditions said that it could not be an amazon gift card and didn’t understand why the promo code didn’t work. He also said it needed to be sold by and fulfilled by amazon. So i asked if sold by/fulfilled by AVI and amazon company doesn’t mean it’s being sold and fulfilled by amazon. It all boiled down to that gift cards and AVI didn’t meet the conditions of the promo code for it to apply but he was kind enough to give me the credit to apply to a future purchase. I did mention that multiple individuals were successfully able to apply the promo to a gift card purchase. Not sure if they didn’t specify the exclusions well enough and then caught on that it shouldn’t be applying to gift cards or what happened. I am very grateful that the customer service rep worked with me and gave me credit.

Hmm, were you just now trying to make a purchase using the offer above? Or was that yesterday. This deal was only valid through yesterday? Happy that customer service was helpful!
