can you stack this with the $1 coupons from KFR in any retailer?

    • Nick

      rephrase:
does any retailer allow you to stack this with the $1 off coupon from KFR?

    • Jaime

I was wondering the same thing. Technically the coupon applies to one box of cereal, right? The free one. So I was wondering if we could use coupons on the other boxes…

When I was a new super-couponer many many years ago, the grocery boards I belonged to encouraged it. The term was called ‘piggybacking’. So basically they explained you could use a cents off/1 coupon towards the item you are purchasing (the BO part of the coupon) then the GO part applied to the free item. Most stores I shopped did allow it and piggybacked often. I got out of super-couponing for a while and when I ventured back online, found H2S. For a while matchups did include piggybacking, then Collin did a post that she didn’t feel it wasn’t right. That a BOGO (or in this case B2G1) encompasses all items of the coupon. Also some coupons even state in the fine print that you cannot use any other offer with this coupon. BOGO coupons rarely seem to overlap cents off/1 nowadays. The only time I’ve gotten a piggyback is using a BOGO paper coupon and had a digital coupon offer apply as well (at Rite Aid and Wags!). With that said, you can try, but don’t be disappointed if the cashier won’t let you or the q beeps.

Off topic, but I just opened the coupons.com app for the first time in months to print another set of q’s and since when did they offer cash back for grocery offers? Most of them are card loyalty stores for stores I don’t have in my area (like Fred Meyer, Food Lion), but did find Target & WM on the list for receipt upload. FAQ says you cannot submit receipts for products if you’ve already redeemed with a paper manuf coupon. Cash back is deposited directly to your linked Paypal acct within 48 hrs after submission of a valid receipt. Reminds me of the Shopmium app that I deleted after they changed the stores you could submit receipts from!

Albertsons this week has a coupon for Kelloggs cereal up to 13.7 oz for 0.99c each (up to 3). Stack this or other coupons to score big on Kelloggs small boxes

Great deal. I went tonight and the only coupon that came out of the red machine was the $1 off $3 cereal coupon. Since I was going to be getting an extra $1 off what I had planned, I got 2 of the 2/$6 (16.9 oz) and 1 of the $2.49 (11.2 oz) boxes. After the $1 off $3 cereal, B2G1 Free printable and a $2/$2 any grocery email coupon, I paid $3, for all 3. Also, because the larger boxes are 5.7 oz larger than the $2.49 boxes, 2 of them was the same as buying 3 of the smaller boxes. So… it was like getting 4 boxes, at $0.75 each.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome score Paul! Thanks for sharing!

I did the Special K cereal deal today and I was able to print out 4 coupons because i have 2 computers. I bought 6 boxes of Special K cereal at $2.49 each, I bought milk and also the toothbrushes that were 3pk for $4.19. I have pregnant brain and I handed the cashier all four buy 2 get one free coupons for the cereal, the computer took all four coupons it deducted $3.99(4x) and used an extra $1.00 off $4.00 cereal. my total was $6.32 I bought milk and the toothbrushes got bk $2.00 register rewards, so basically I got all the cereal for free. score!
