I’m glad I read reviews on this…These are tiny books, much smaller than you’d expect. And some reviews said these are not true beginner books.

We have the spiderman set, and my son loves them. I think they are boring, and yes they are very short, but he reads them all the time.

Thanks for the feedback Julie! Good to know!

Gonna split the set for my boys Easter baskets! Thanks!!

I actually use these in teaching for character voices. They are fun to use. I would say these are an end of first grade, second grade level.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Thanks for the helpful feedback Trisha!

We have this set, spiderman and star wars. The books are small but this helps the younger reader hold them. As far as the level, I agree it’s for older ages. It’s really the fact that they use the people’s names and made up places etc. If you child is very familiar with the theme, they may could sound out some of the words. Otherwise they are not easy to sound out for a beginning reader as the names and places are not real “words”. Hope that makes sense 😉 my boys do still love them though!

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing Stephanie!
