Why can’t we use the 1.50 coupon for olay from the p&g yesterday?

    • K

You could. It would bring your total under $50 though and you’d have to add a filler.

  2. Linnet

I live in Miami, Florida and yesterday non of the newspaper that I check (different stores) has the P&G coupons insert.

  3. hazel

Oh so it has to be 50 after coupons. Gotcha and thanks for responding.

    • Amy Lee

Ah, I long for ‘the good old days’ when the P&G rebates were $50 before coupons!!

  4. Aimee18

Bought some Pantene from CVS and used CVS coupons and manufacturer’s coupons. Do I take the total after both coupons or just the manufacturer’s coupons?

    • moonsirena

Your total paid must be $50. Or more

    • Mel

Aimee, the last time I did a PG offer, what I did was go by the subtotal after all q’s had been deducted. For example. I bought 3 Pantene yesterday along with other items, but after all q’s & ecb’s my subtotal was $7.96. I divided that price by 3, giving me $2.65 per item towards the $50 needed, so that’s what I wrote on each line. I’ll just keep paperclipping receipts to the form and keeping track. Who knows if I’ll actually hit $50 by April 30!

fyi – if you run out of lines, draw an arrow and write OVER, and continue with the UPCs & price on the back of the page.

Your receipt will show you exactly how much each item is. That’s what they will go by as well. Not by your subtotal with other items. You can’t get credit for those if its not an item on the rebate.
You are also cheating yourself if you count the cost AFTER ECBs. Those are NOT manufacturer coupons. Those are just like your personal CASH. Even if CVS gives you back ECBs on the exact items included in the rebate, that is irrelevant. Think of it as cash.

When you use a Manufacturers coupon (MQ), they apply that to your total, and your amount due is now less. The MQ are sent to P&G who then cuts a check to the store. So that’s why they don’t count your total BEFORE coupons, because THEY pay the amount on the coupon. They want YOU to pay $50 worth. When I say YOU, that includes cash, debit, credit, gift cards, store credit, and ECBs. Just as long as it isn’t the manufacturer. ECBs are for transactions between you and CVS.

I understand this VERY well, but I am TERRIBLE at explaining 🙁 I hope you understand what I mean. Just take the amount that an item rings up at on the receipt, and deduct the coupon that goes with it. Write that price. It will already be “after all sales and discounts” since your card does that automatically, and it will be your subtotal (pre tax) per item. Just use those 2 numbers I said. (If the sale is lets say, 3 for $10, and MQ is like $5/3, (sometimes it will ring up as $5.00, $4.99, and $0.01 – to make you buy all 3). I don’t know the right way to advise, but my guess is it would be OK to average those. So $10-$5=$5 and divide by 3 = $1.67 each

Can you tell me where I can find the list of items that qualify? On the rebate form there is no mention of cover girl.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! You could always call them to be certain of the full list of qualifying items. Hope this helps! 888-613-6241.

      • Mel

Collin, I believe you must have copied from an older offer. Your write up states – This rebate includes CoverGirl, Pantene, Secret, Ivory, Herbal Essences Hair and Body wash, Aussie, Clairol, Safeguard, Olay Skin, Olay Body, Head & Shoulders, Old Spice or Vidal Sassoon color products

The form itself states – $50 worth of Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Secret, Ivory, Safeguard, Olay Skin, Olay Body, and Venus products.
So products like CoverGirl, Herbal Essences, Old Spice & Vidal Sassoon aren’t included this time around.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback Mel! Just updated! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up Molly! Great find!

  6. Sheri

Does anyone know whether an online purchase/receipt qualifies? I can only see on the rebate form that they are wanting original, dated sales receipts with the store name and product purchase…. Any clarification would be helpful!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, that’s a good question, I don’t find any details listed about that either. However, I did find this number if you wanted to call for further details. 888-613-6241. Hope this helps!

      • Sheri

Thanks! I did call but got a really interesting recorded message that said, “Message 600 APS reserved” and the call was dropped. Just giving an update so others don’t call and end up not getting through, too 🙂

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn! Thanks for the heads up!

    • Lovemom

Yes, I believed so. I did it last year used one online order receipt and no problem to get the rebate. But make sure out of pocket money got to over $50:)

    • R. Young

Yes online purchases count, just print out the receipt and/or order form with purchase price. I did this last time the rebate was around and all my products were ordered online from Target:)

      • Sheri

        Thank you!

  7. Gezelle

Yep Molly I send all my Secret UPS codes 40@a time.

Is the gift card deal still available? I don’t see any signs about it in store!

  10. Lois Way

It has been 8 weeks and no rebate…What is up with that?

  11. Cheri Heinritz

Why do all these expired offers still show? It is just frustrating! Please remove them and show only current offers and rebates.

    Thank you!

  12. halima master

I need a mail in rebate form for 15% of $50/- purchase in Nov 2017

  13. betty

why do you keep these on here after they have expired?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up Betty! The post has been expired!

  14. Couponer

Can I use multiple receipts for this offer? Or does it need to be on 1 receipt?
