Lol i tried explaining to the manager these gift items were 90% as another Walgreens in the area honored the sale but she fought me tooth n nail n finally didn’t agree to give these items for 90% off, so not only does it vary by region but by Manager..n their mood.
I used to work at a Walgreens and recall our manager being in charge of clearance pricing for most items at our store. A few clearance items each week were corporate-wide, but most were at his discretion – especially seasonal items. HTH!
i think clearance may vary by store. just because something is on clearance at one store doesn’t mean it is on clearance at another store. also, their clearance prices may vary as well as they may not mark down to the same amount at the same time so you may find something at 50% off at one store that is already 75% at another
The only thing i scored at 90% off was vday stuff i was so excited that never happens to me.
A lot of the winter items were 90% off too, hats, gloves, scarfs, cozy socks.
I bought a scarf (similar to Lina’s photo). I was expecting to pay $1.49. To my complete surprise it rang up as $0.62!

Does Walgreens put their 90% clearance items on end caps? I only shop Walgreens about once a month, so I’m not familiar with how they display their clearance.
Each Walgreens does it a little differently. Some will have their clearance vday stuff next to the new Easter products. Others have a “clearance” aisle, and others do an end cap.

Ran to my Walgreens after seeing this post. All the ceramic gifts and whatnot in the teal boxes were gone, but they had a lot of teddy bears (the big ones rang up for $1.49!) and vday bags and candies. Bought out their winter accessories (gloves, beanies, thermal hats, boot covers, socks) to donate. They were all ringing up $0.29-$0.99!

Couldn’t get away earlier today & all gone tonight😢.
Went last week and the items were 70% off. Got a off white throw,purple lava lamp, the basketball game, 8×10 picture frame. To go coffee mug set and an owl oil diffuser. Total was less than $20.00 due to me using $3.00 off w/ points.
Mine were not marked, but rang up 90% off…score!!!

Valentine’s Day Clearance 90% ??
Just left. I was there to pick up some pictures I had printed, and found Frames for the pictures at $.99 for 2 4×6 frames. They had some great things.

I meant it’s still a regular price. Even 5% would be nice. But nothing.
Keep watching they will put them on clearance.
Also keep an eye out for fleece socks, winter hats/scarves/gloves and slippers….. all 90% off. Just went to one store and none of the merchandise had the clearance tags, but everything rang up @ 90% off. Thick fleece lined socks for jut $.39 and slippers for $.99!

None of these items were on clearance at my store, they were still full price. They did have some winter items on clearance.
One local store had tons! A different one only had a few things that were not marked, but rang up on 90%. The last local store had none of the 90% off items but had spaghetti sauce .59 a large glass container and grape jelly .99 normally 3.29. So all and all I did really well. This was in Ohio.

I went to Walgreens today for the Ziploc bags, 90% off Valentines, leggings and winter. Bought some leggings and Valentines. At the check out the West Loop textured leggings are ringing Buy One Get One Half Off so 90 cents for both or 45cents each. You can’t beat that price. Thank you for posting deals like 90% off. It seems like thats my price that I can afford LOL
I got one flashlight/multi-tool and wanted to price check if it was 90% off and I picked up some food items on clearance. By the time I got to the cashier to have her check that item, someone came behind me and bought every single thing left on the shelves at 90% off! Only 50% off winter items at my store in IN.
I have had so much fun since Monday shopping for these items. I have noticed 1 store may not be 90% off. Crazy but the cashiers have been very helpful!
