These are three card packs that only have commons. No rare cards will be had from these.

    • AJ

      Thank you!

    • sarah

My son likes these packs and he has found rare cards in the packs. It usually will only be 1 rare and 2 very common ones with it.

    • Marissa

My son has found a few of his EX cards from the dollar store three packs! He was pretty excited 😊

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

        That’s cool!

Nice try, lol… I’ve pulled quiet a few secret rares out of Dollar Store packs. They’re no different than any other pack.

  3. Jen

But, for those just starting out…will make my son VERY happy on Easter!!!!!

    • Chris

I’ve received various cars from these. Packs seem tho ranger from 2commons and 1 uncommon, usually (not always) you’ll get a reverse holo. I pulled ex cards, energies, trainers/supporter/item/stadium. I’m telling you guys this random assortment is the best value!

      • Jordon Bishop

I’ve pulled Hundreds of full arts and even some secret rares from Dollar tree 3 card packs as a matter of fact I’m very very rarely buy one that doesn’t have a full art in it unless my son is with me when I buy them for him anyways a couple of times I have screwed up and gotten just a regular or reverse holo that I thought was going to be a full art then again I have a method

    • Leighna wolf

      Happy Easter to you too.

  4. april

I’m so happy that pokemon is still popular. I was obsessed when I was a kid & I kept a ton of my pokemon stuff. My oldest kid is 4 and isn’t into it yet, but I bet he’ll appreciate the whopping amount of cards I have. Including the holographic ancient Mew card. Yup, still bragging about that one. 😉

    • Metronoma

Holographic Mew card?!?!? Oh man, I would brag about it, too!
      Totally cool 😎

      • Martin

I have a holo mew to

      • Martin

    • april c

Nice i have some old cards from when i was a kid thet are 17 years old. My 6 year old isnt into it yet either but when he does these will be cool to show him.

    • Kenny le

Ancient mew is like 2 to 5 bucks wouldn’t be bragging about that

    • Alex

It’s a pretty cool card but to be honest it’s really not that rare and it’s only worth between 3-7 dollars depending on condition. But never the less it is a cool card.

      • Alex

It’s a pretty cool card but to be honest it’s really not that rare and it’s only worth between 3-7 dollars depending on condition. But never the less it is a cool card. But if you have a Base set Charizard holo with no 1st edition symbol it’s about $50. But if you have one with a first edition symbol its about 500-1500 dollars depending on condition. Which is a big jump 50 to 1500, Wow.

  5. Dawn

Dollar tree has carried these 3-pack Pokémon cards for a couple years now. I’ll often let my boys pick a pack each. Usually nothing exciting, but every once in awhile someone is excited about something.

  6. Mariela

Thank you Collin and team! My two boys are having a Pokémon birthday party early April and these packs will be great to put in the goodie bags.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh perfect! You’re very welcome!

  7. Nichole

I did the same for the goodie bags. My son had a Pokémon party and I put a pack in the goodie bags. 🙂

  8. MrsFelix1004

My son just got into these cards. I will have to go get a few for Easter. We have started a time capsule for him to bury later this year and he has been asking to put some Pokémon card in there so this is a win win for us!

We bought a cheap ammo case from Walmart to bury is stuff in it was only $6. For the family we bought a nice metal ammo case from Gander Mountain for $20 because we won’t dig it up for many years! Super fun family activity and every wrote letters to themselves of their hopes and dreams.

    • zahra

      Love the idea

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      How neat! Thanks for sharing!

  9. Melissa Rice

Just a question, are there only 3 cards in each pack? How much are these packs at other stores? Thank you very much!

    • sdyert

Normally the packs are around $5 and have 10 cards. So it’s cheaper to get the dollar tree packs, but the cards are more likely to be common. My son is 7 and enjoys opening them.

  10. Jess

My son has actually pulled a mega ex full art from one of these dollar store packs before so great pulls can be had 😉

  11. Holly

Thank you! My daughter was just asking for these for her birthday. Perfect timing!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome!

  13. Jacquie

I would be careful-the ones at our dollar store were fakes. My son was upset. You can tell b/c in the bottom right hand corner there should be numbers. I.e.- 34/106. They also said things like “draw a card” which a real card would not.

  14. TNK

My kids just got 5 packs of Sun and Moon from Dollar Tree today and got an Incineroar GX along with a couple holo cards (I did not ask if they were rare). They are very happy.

    • Ruben

      Where did you get them

  15. Jennifer

Where do you all live? Can’t seem to find any here in Southern California

  16. mike

I honestly cant believe people are actually saying that these packs do not have good cards in them… I have bought these packs on several occasions and I have pulled a Tapu lele full art gx card ( valued at $50 USD ) and many other gx and ex cards valued at over $5 USD…. I would honestly reccomend buying these pokemon card packs, I have had very verrry good luck with them

  17. Ruben

    Where can you get them

  18. Cookie

    The Dollar Tree.

  19. MissElyrii

I’ve pulled some very rare cards from Dollar tree packs, Including a Primarina GX and an Acerola card (which has a sale value of almost 30$ by the way.) They’re definitely worth it if you have a few extra dollars.

  20. Sir.Pokemon

These packs are very good I enjoy them, I pulled a hyper rare Lurantis GX from one the other day!

  21. Yeet Boi

Way better value than the 20$ cans. You can gather the same amount of cards for 8$ less by getting 12 packs
Each being 1$ so 12$ for 72 cards.

    • Jordon Bishop

I am working on Building my 11 year old son full sets in jungle and fossil now I already built him a full base some are first edition some are Shadowless some are unlimited and a couple are actually still base set 2 only really significant one thats base set 2 is the Blastoise. His Charizard is actually shadowless.

  22. Corey

In what state are you finding pokemon cards at dollar tree stores? I live in Maryland and cant find any pokemon at my local dollar tree. Even on the dollar tree website there are none.

  23. Kibble n' bits

Lies! Imbecile. You know nothing about the Pokemon’s. You canna pull anything from the poke packs.

  24. Jeri P

What do I have to type in to find them on their online site? I’m trying to get a whole box but I can’t find it in their inventory.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! These are not available online. This is an older post, however I still find Pokemon cards at my store. They are usually up near the registers. Hope this helps!

  25. James

I also have a holo Mew. Mint state.

  26. pokemon lover 24:)

    I live in Aneheim ca.

  27. pokemon lover 24:)

i’ve tried looking but i can’t seem to find them not even by the regester i’ve also checked the toys.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! This is an older post, however my Dollar Tree still has Pokemon cards. At my location they were near the front on a rack with many other types of cards. They have recently moved them to the wall near the far register. You could always ask a store associate to see if they may be able to find them for you. Hoping this helps!

  28. pokemon lover 24:)

    thanks for the advice.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome!

  34. madison

    i cant find any where

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Madison! This is an older post. It seems Pokemon cards are a bit harder to find these days. My son has actually had luck finding new and old Pokemon cards at local trading card stores OR local thrift / consignment / antique shops. Hoping that might be helpful!

  35. Benjamin Waldrup

I pulled a butterfree vmax from a 3 pack of cards!
