Wish it was a Cartwheel instead of mobile coupon, which can only be used once 🙁

    Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  2. melloddie

There is a 0.50 coupon in the redplum insert amongst the weekly circulars I got yesterday, so there should be one coming out this weekend.

    • A

May I know what region u r in? I checked several preview and didn’t see Tic Tac q

      • Melloddie

        NYC

        • A

Thanks! Hope I can get it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I do not find that one listed when searching the database. Thanks for sharing!

      • lily

I just saw it on the database. It’s coming out this weekend.

        • Mel

It’s actually in the 3/19 Smartsource, not RP.

  3. Barbara

This “suggested” idea has you getting $0.50 back on cherry cola tick tacks yet does not mention purchasing them in the transaction. How is that possible? ?

    • Victoria W. C.

It should say “Orange” tic tacs. There is a separate Checkout 51 rebate for “Cherry Cola” tic tac mixers.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up Barbara! Just updated!

  4. Diana

New to ibotta? This app is great! Lots of stores and rebates to choose from. It is very user friendly and worth it. Plus, when you redeem your first rebate, you get a $10 credit added to your account.

  5. Lauren

So if I buy 3 packs of orange tic tacs I can get 3 ($.50) rebates from Ibotta? I have never tried multiple rebates for an item. Seems like an easy way to make the march madness bonus??

    • k

On my ibotta it says limit 3 per receipt but offers can vary by user so you may want to look at the details for your offer

      • Rebecca

Oh, I never paid attention to the details beyond size, quantity, and other specific product info. Good to know. I’ll have to check that out. Thanks!

        • k

          You’re welcome!

    • Brianna

I think that even though you can get 3 of the same Tic Tac, only one qualifies towards the bonus. That’s why they say “unique” rebate.

    • Victoria W. C.

I had the same question as Lauren. Would I get back 3 ($0.50) rebates from Ibotta if it says ‘Limit 3’ when I buy, for example, 3 of the orange tic tacs? Or only 1 ($0.50)?

      • Peni

Yes, you will. I just claimed 3 freshmints.

    • Ella

It is my understanding that if you redeem 3 rebates for orange tic tacs, you will only get March Madness Bonus credit for 1 of them. It’s still nice to get the three rebates, but the bonus states “unique rebates,” which I take to mean you only get bonus credit for one even if you can redeem multiple times for the $.50. Although if you have separate offers for the different flavors, each flavor would be a unique rebate. Hope that makes sense!

    • val

Before you scan the barcode, mine said “change +” and I was able to change it to three. I then scanned all three. If you don’t change the quantity, you will only get back for one item. That happened to me the first time I submitted a rebate that had a limit greater than one. Hope this makes sense.

  6. Lisa

Will the Target mobile coupon work on all candy items in 1 transaction? So if I buy 10 different bags of candy, I will get 25% off each one?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, it will apply to all qualifying items in the transaction.

  7. Claudia Cristina

I have never used Ibotta or Checkout 51, but I use a lot and love Savingstar. Is it as easy as Savingstar (just scan the receipt and bar codes?). Just curious….

    • Angela McCormick

It is so much better than Savingstar! There are many, MANY more rebates, and most of them will reappear after you redeem them once, so you can cash them in more than one time. Plus there are frequent bonuses (like right now, if you redeem 10 rebates in March, you get a $10 bonus!). I got several hundred dollars back from Ibotta last year. It’s my favorite rebate app. If you want to sign up, please consider using my link: https://ibotta.com/r/midivqw
You’ll get a $10 welcome bonus once you redeem your first rebate within a week, and I’ll get $5 for referring you. 🙂

    • Momof2

Ibotta and checkout51 are both rebate apps. Lots of stores and rebates to choose from. It is very user friendly and sometimes they have the same rebate so items end up being free. When you redeem your first rebate, you get a $10 credit added to your account.

  8. Momof2

You can actually use the barcode more than once. I had my brother text for code and it’s the same exact #s

    • Denise

Thank you! I was wondering about this. So happy it can be used more than once!!

  9. Betsy

Be aware that using coupons/other discounts in conjunction with Checkout 51 can sometimes result in not receiving the rebate. I had a couple of rebates denied last week because I used a coupon. I tried talking to CS about it and they refused to give me the rebate.

    • Momof2

That happened to me as well. I didn’t know I couldn’t use a coupon until after the fact.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Betsy! Some Checkout51 offers will list in the fine print that they exclude other coupons. Hope this helps!

      • Betsy

Thanks for the tip! Love all your help. You are a lifesaver!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          You’re welcome! 😉

  10. Toni

    Thanks for the post!

Here’s what mine look like so a $1.75 money maker. I also have a bonus of $10 for March with Ibotta if I redeem for 12 rebates so this should give me a good push.
Tic Tac Orange Mints 1 oz
Tic Tac Freshmints Mints 1 oz
Tic Tac Mixers Cherry Cola 1 oz
Tic Tac Fruit Adventure 1 oz
    Tic Tac Wintergreen 1 oz

    Rebates:
    Checkout 51 all $2.25
    Ibotta (not cherry cola) $2

  11. Lorrie

I bought some today and it ended up being a mm: $1.17, less 25% off (0.29), checkout 51 (0.50) and Ibotta (0.50). I didn’t realize both checkout 51 and Ibotta allowed 3 of each flavor: wahoo!

  12. Whit

Yay! I’m trying to buy 15 things to get that $10 bonus!

    • Tarri

I have to get 20 total, have 2 so far.

    • val

Just so you know, I bought nine Tic Tacs yesterday. Three were Freshmint, three were Orange, and three were Fruit Adventure. (My store didn’t have Wintergreen.) Anyway, it only counted as three total rebates towards my needed 15 rebates for the $10 bonus. I was hoping it would count as nine.

  13. Nikki

I am not seeing any tic tac offers in my checkout51 🙁 Regional? Or gone?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Nikki! Be sure to check for them in your app! Hope this helps!

  14. Melissa

Can I buy 3 of each tic tac Fruit, orange, wintergreen and freshmint flavors and receive $6 all at one time? I’m not a ibotta user so not 100% sure?

  15. Carol

How do you submit for multiple items on the same receipt? I see that Ibotta allows 3 redemptions on each Tic Tac flavor, so I bought 3 of each, but when I try to scan the bar code in Ibotta it looks like I’m only turning in one each.

  16. LaRie

Just got 3 of fresh mints, 3 orange and 3 fruit adventure…it only gave me 1.50 back. It didn’t work like the Poise deal where you could purchase 2 products and get 5+ 5 cash back. My wintergreen flavor has disappeared in my unlocked rebates; so I wonder if they pulled it.

    • val

For a rebate that has a limit other than one. You need to change the quantity before you scan the item. When you click verify purchase, it will say “change +.” If you message them about only getting it for one, they will adjust. At least they did for me the first time I missed this step.. Hope that helps.

      • LaRie

For Ibotta, it had me scan it multiple times but only credited once per flavor. Didn’t see anywhere to increase the rebate.

    • greysw

similar things happened to me, i bought 3 orange, 3 freshmint, 3 fruit adventure, it was fine when i submitted the receipt (where i selected and scanned 3 for each items), it gave me 1.50 for the freshmints but ony 50 cents for the orange and 50 cents for the fruit adventure

  17. Victoria W. C.

    Thank you! I bought:

    3 Orange
    3 Fruit Adventure
    1 Freshmint
    2 Wintergreen

Used the 25% off candy Target mobile q.

Got back $9 in rebates – $4.50 from Checkout 51 and $4.50 from Ibotta.

  18. Mel

Checkout51 Tic Tac offers are all GONE.

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

Oh darn! Looks like they have all been claimed 🙁
