Just a heads up that there is a limited supply and these will sell fast, so you may want to make plans to get there when the doors open. You may want to try Ebay and see how much they are going for. My husband bought one at Christmas for $180. I realize that’s around double the price, but given the demand at holiday, I didn’t think that was bad and was still cheaper than the Xbox, etc. They may be even less than that now that the rush of holiday is over. Sometimes if you really want something it’s worth paying the extra $ rather than wasting the time trying to beat the crowd. And I rarely say that lol. But if you have been trying for months, maybe it’s time to come to the dark side 🙂 Good luck!
Have you modified yours yet. I have modded 10 or so. It is so cool to have some many games to choose from.
Is it relatively easy to do? I’ve watched a few you tube videos in how to do it, but am scared I’ll ruin my system
Not sure you can ruin it. I was nervous as well and I waited until I had a second unit before modifying mine. I think my 8 year old could do it. I haven’t heard of anyone actually bricking theirs

I signed up for alerts through Nowinstock.net and that’s how I got mine. I still get alerts every couple of weeks. Recently, there was an alert for Walmart priced at $37.

That’s what I was worried about. My 8 yr old wants this, but there are no good games???? I’m better off waiting until they release better selection of games
The only good title out is the new zelda, and that’s available for wiiu. Hubby and I took a pass on this system just because of that.
Zelda if fantastic and being able to play in true portable mode is a real game changer. Shovel Knight is amazing. Snipper clips is a great 2 player game. 1 2 switch and bomber man are great party games. Although they are not worth the full price right now imo.
Snipits (I think is what it’s called) is pretty fun. My 5 year old enjoys it. We got it from the Nintendo store
