My target had them on clearance for $3.98 so I got two but at the register when she scanned the coupon it only took off $1.48 instead of the $3. I asked at customer service desk and they told me it was because of the gift card promotion. I still got a good deal but I was hoping to get the entire $3 off from the coupon. I could not find anything online about this, has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, Target will now adjust the value of a coupon on a Gift Card offer, as they will not allow a moneymaker on a gift card freebie. Hope this helps!
