Sorry OT, but Amazon has a 36ct pack of Grandmas cookies for $15.67 with S&S and 20% off coupon. I got it for $12.37 – good deal!

Great score! I am not finding them as I search through now. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Diana

I just started using this and told my mom.about it. She uses zzquill every night so I gave her a week’s worth of melatonin just yesterday to see if she likes it. This is such a good deal I ordered her a bottle. Thanks!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy you could grab it for her! YW!

I cannot seem to figure out why melatonin doesn’t work for me. it’s almost like taking a sugar pill. I’ve taken 4 in one night and stayed up the entire night.

    • Kim

Me too Jade! Most of the OTC sleeping pills keep me up as well, it’s very frustrating!

      • Jade

        Glad there’s others like this!

      • llc

Kim, try a sleeping aid with Doxylamine Succinate 25 mg. Its in Unisom Sleep Tabs (not gels). Also a much cheaper version at Costco but its only available in Store (or online at ebay). And bonus, its not habit forming.

It works for me when the others like Diphenhydramine kept me awake. Diphenhydramine is just Benedryl and it the main ingredient in Tylenol PM and 90% of OTC Sleep Aids.

    • Kayla

As Monica mentioned below, these melatonin pills are essentially synthetic hormones to help supplement your body’s levels if you aren’t making enough. Melatonin doesn’t make you drowsy like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) but instead makes the attempts to sleep more successful. Melatonin is naturally released in darkness, so make sure you’re set up to sleep when you take it. However, since it hasn’t helped your body may already produce enough melatonin so you’d be more successful with something like Benadryl that actually causes drowsiness.

Might want to save people time and include that in order to get the stated price is if you buy a subscription for the melatonin otherwise your paying $4.89 plus shipping and handling!

Hi there! We did mention that in the post: As an idea, you can grab this 240-Count Bottle of Nature Made Melatonin Tablets for only $1.48 shipped when the $3 off coupon is applied and you opt to Subscribe and Save.

      Thanks!

  6. Jill

Thanks my boys take this every night.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Jill!

    • Jill

Wow that’s a good deal to thanks

      • Susanna

        You’re welcome!

    • Jane

I guess I’m cheap – $3.41 per bottle is still to high for me LOL!

      • Susanna

I actually got it for about $12 because I had 5+ items for subscribe and save. $3 per big bottle of Dove is worth it to me just because I love Dove 🙂

  7. Abby

Coupon gone. 🙁 Got an error during processing. When I went back, coupon was gone.

    • Susanna

I’m sorry it’s gone! I just used it this morning 🙁

      • Susanna

I can’t see the coupon anymore but I thought it was just because I used it already

        • Susanna

I logged out and the coupon is still there

    • Anne

It’s still there, I just made my purchase. Thanks for the great find!

      • Susanna

        You’re welcome!

I can’t understand why some parents would give this to their children. My neighbor forces her boys to take this (12 and 14) at 8pm so that she won’t be bothered with them in the evenings. I dunno, seems odd to put kids on pills like this, and not help them find ways to naturally fall asleep on their own.

    • Brittany

I love having this natural supplement in my cabinet. Occasionally, my 11 yr old just can’t get his brain to shut off at night and it’s a great help. I’d much rather have him take one of these occasionally than lie there awake and not get a full night’s sleep. I certainly don’t use it on a “regular” basis… but it’s helpful when needed.

      • Meranda

This is a coupon site guys, if you want to try and slam others or preach an opinion they have forums all over the Internet you can use instead of this 🙂

    • Jade

Tina, I agree. I’m an adult and my parents still only recommend me drinking warm milk.

    • babs

      Judgemuch!

    • Monica

Melatonin does not work that way. It is not a sleeping pill.

    • rebecca

some parents would b/c it is prescribed due to legitimate medical need.
i don’t know anything about your neighbor. but it is weird for you to assume any parent who is using any type of medicine for their child is just like your neighbor.

  9. Heather

    Got it!! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Heather!

  10. Monica

This is a synthetic hormone. If your body is producing enough naturally no amount of supplement will help you sleep. It does not work like other otc meds like diphenhydramine or dolylamine. Totally different mechanisms.

  11. Ihearthip

I’ve also read that melatonin helps with heartburn problems.
