Note that the price of this toy will range from $10-$100 (you’ll find out May 19th) – it’s free to reserve the toy now and then you’ll be charged when the toy ships – shipping will be free. If you change your mind, you can cancel the order through May 18th. And once you receive the toy on May 20th, you can always return for free by mail or at your local ToysRUs store so really have nothing to lose!
Lol, I reserved the toy a few days ago…they said you could cancel the order or return it. I hope it’s an awesome toy for the kids! Also the price is anywhere from $10-$100…I bet it ends up being $79.99!! We’ll see!

Not sure why I reserved this since my oldest child is only 3 and it will probably be above her level but like others have said the mystery and possibility of getting something awesome got me. Haha. Fingers crossed it’s something that will make the kids next door jealous.

Tempting, but I see it as a good marketing ploy. Some people will over pay for a product just for the rush of getting a surprise box. Excited to see what others get, but not gonna waste my time or money.

Paying up to $100 BLINDLY?!?!? For something your child may or may not like? Sorry, but there is nothing hip about that. Not cool. To me, this seems like exactly the opposite of everything this site is about. This is not being smart with your money. To each their own, I guess.

This show has been really disappointing. None of the toys are appealing at all so far. The kid judges just like anything that involves candy.
Agreed. Also, I don’t like some of the sassy things these kids say to adults. My kids and I only watched it once.

I’m confused. You said it’s free to reserve, but when you go through the whole thing, it’s said $100 plus tax. I didn’t hit submit. So which is it?
It doesn’t cost you anything today to reserve it. It says you’re charged when it ships. In other words, you will eventually pay for the toy, but you’re not paying anything for getting the opportunity to reserve one of the limited edition versions.
When I clicked submit I noticed a pending charge for $108 on my card, hopefully it’s just a pending charge and will drop off…hopefully.
I’m not sure which part you’re confused about. Free to reserve means it’s free to commit to buying it for up to $100 (the price isn’t set yet since the winning toy hasn’t been decided yet).

Show and toys are a let down so far. I fine the idea great but they need to get rid of Eric Stonestreet and all the adults and just have the kids do it. Also i hate that 8 ball thing! Only thing thats decent is the lightupdog
I’m sorry toys r us is doing false advertisement because if it is free to reserve than they should not charge anyone. They charged my card. I’m not happy will never do business with them again. I cancelled the order and may have to wait 10 days to get my money back in my bank. They lie when it is free to reserve but that is not true. Sorry, Collin I’m just mad about this whole situation. I love your site and you help me a lot when it comes to good deals.
