is there any free shipping codes for kohls card holders
Hi ladies, is anyone experienced with fresh water pearls quality and deals? I need to buy a 17 inch pearl necklace (9-10mm) and matching earrings for my mom’s 70th birthday. Would kohls or amazon be a good place to buy? It’s a lot of money and I would really appreciate any tips you might have – Thanks a lot!!!
Always buy pearls in person. In my experience what you receive is not what is pictured on those 2 online sites. They will show you perfect round smooth pearls and what you receive is far from it. I would recommend that you look in person at Sams Club or Costco for pearls. If you must buy online I would recommend Honora pearls at QVC. They are sold elsewhere, in stores, as well. The nacre of the Honora pearl is thick and they will last a lifetime. Keep in mind that the larger the pearl size in mm you want, the better the luster, and the closer to the perfect round shape that you desire will mean a much higher the price. The 9-10mm is still considered a large pearl even in freshwater pearls terms. Do your homework on pearls online. They come in potato shape, baroque, near-round, round, etc. Look at as any pearls in person as you possibly can. Hold them, look at the skins for pits lustres, colors, shapes and compare mm sizes. Make sure you buy from someone who has a clear return policy, just in case Mom does not like them. Better yet, ask your mom to show you what she has in mind up front. Good Luck.
