I love this price comparison format for Costco. Thank you Mary and H2S team! I know that not everything is cheaper at Costco and sometimes it can be hard to determine if the purchase is worth it. Breaking it down to a unit comparison with other stores is perfect. Please keep doing this! Thanks!

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

  15. Ann

    Thanks for the price comparison!!

  16. Carrie

I love this series!!! I always err on the side of “It’s more expensive at Costco” even after Instant Savings. The Annie’s Fruit snacks look to be a great deal. Perfect timing too because I’m headed out to Costco this weekend. Thank you!

    • Wren

😁 I’m the opposite- I always err on the side of ‘it’s cheaper at Costco’ if it’s on coupon! πŸ™‚

  17. Melissa

  21. Helen in Meridian

Sis just called from Boise Costco and said RACE to Costco. She couldn’t believe all the flowers they just go in for Mothers Day. They even had $50 baskets she said would cost over $100 if you went plant by plant. Lovely callas in colored pots for $29 and 10 begonias for $20.

  22. Tina

Great break down! We only have a BJs here and I love them cause they accept coupons AND have their own to combine πŸ™‚ wish we could get breakdowns for BJs!!!

  23. Ritika

Thank you H2S team for such a detailed post.

  24. Liz

My goodness…thanks soo much Colin,Mary and team…please continue with this format. Love it !!

  25. Erin

Those aren’t the Babybel on Cartwheel. I only know this because I’ve been searching Targets for them and finally found them today. Gouda and mozzarella are the only two varieties on my Cartwheel. Not sure if Costco carries those. I sure hope my son likes them!

  26. Adriaddiemom

Thank you SO MUCH for breaking down the prices this way!!

  27. Audrey Tolle

Thank you! SO helpful! We also stocked up on Nestle Drumsticks, Skinny Pop (Bags were only $2.70 for a huuuuuge bag).

  28. Tara

I know many have said it, but THANK YOU for the price comparison!!! I am horrible at math πŸ˜‚ and just never took the time to see if Costco’s deals with coupons were really a better deal! And wow, they are!! Thank you for all the Hip2Save team does!! It is greatly appreciated!! ❀❀❀

  29. Angela

Not on the list but my Costco had large jars of organic sliced mangos for only $5.99. They are so tasty! Del Destino is the brand. Awesome buy for pre-sliced, ripe, organic mangos.

  30. Ashley C.

Just made my Sam’s purchase. They have some AMAZING instant savings deals as well!

  31. Krista

Thanks for comparing prices like that! That’s so nice to see!

  32. Veronica

I’m a FTM. Is this a good stock up price on baby wipes? Also, does Costco accept manufacturer coupons?

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

Yes! Usually 1-2Β’ per wipe is a great price! And no, Costco does not accept manufacturer’s coupons πŸ™ Hope that helps!

    • Emily

They do not accept coupons. $.02 is a target price for baby wipes, so this is a great price.

    • Veronica

      Thanks for the info ladies!!

  33. Gandres2

This is so helpful, thank you!

  34. Misti

I got two boxes of the nestle drumsticks great deal. I also bought a bag of hamburger patties 20 of them for 17.99. They taste good and they where on the Dr OZ show for being good quality meat. I also got the huge 40 case of Kirkland water bottles for 2.99 cheap and good water.

  35. Krista

Love the post!!!!! Keep theSe up!

  36. LC

Spring Water 40pk is 3.99! I always stock up at this price!

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

      Great deal! Thanks!

  37. Peggy

    Thank you. VERY helpful!

  38. Cambria

LOVE the price comparisons, thank you! I snagged the cheese, Snappers and Annie’s fruit snacks last night!

  39. Christa Davison

Thank you for the breakdown in comparison!!!

  40. Tolu

I love Costco. I really love Costco. Lol.

  41. Teevo

I snagged an Under Armour golf shirt for $19.99! And love the book section for toddlers!

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

Nice Under Armour find Teevo! I’ll have to look for that next time! πŸ™‚

  42. Nan

I know this wasn’t the intention of this comparison, but it really opened up my eyes that Amazon prices aren’t always the lowest; in fact, Target often beats them!

    • Geo

So true! Before I pull the trigger on Amazon, I always check Target first. If you’re a red card holder, the shipping is free, and you don’t even have to leave the house! My Target orders usually arrive in just a couple of days.

  43. Gerta

Another one of the million and one reasons I love Hip2Save and why it’s my only go-to savings blog πŸ™‚

  44. KCMJT

RE: Clorox Clean Up – I use this as a SPRAY BLEACH for our white clothes & it makes everything white again, without eating holes in your fabric. Just thought I’d share with everyone…

    • jean

      Good to know.. thank you

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

Oh interesting – great tip! Thanks! πŸ™‚

    • chrissy1925

Would you be so kind to explain in detail? Do you spray and hang outside or spray before throwing in wash? Other details? I try to stay away from white since i can never get that white again. TIA

  45. Melissa

    Those Snappers are ridiculously good.

    • Mary (Stellar Sidekick)

I know right!? A little too good LOL! 😳

  46. linda chen

what is the good target price for baby diapers? 20 cent/diaper?
also, I heard a lot of complain about Huggies brand diapers.

    • SJ

Depends on your brand preference. I consider Pampers the best big name brand. Followed by huggies then luvs.

For pampers swaddlers (The top tier pampers) for newborn and size 1 diapers, my stock up price is 9 or 10 cents per diaper. Size 2 and 3, 11 to 14 cents per diaper, size 4 and 5, 15 to 20 cents a diaper.

    • Candy

Addicting, might be the best description!! lol

  47. Susan

Thank you so much for the comparisons! I know not all things at Costco are a good deal, so appreciate you all highlighting the price comparisons!!!

  48. Lavonna

We always buy our water (40 bottles) 2.99, milk 2.15, eggs 5 doz (Kirkland farm raised) 5.99 at Costco and bread is always cheaper too than Meijer, Target or Walmart. We love Costco but you have to know your prices and save more money with the coupons. My hubby is more willing to go shopping at Costco than other grocery stores so that’s another plus for me. Saves me time that I don’t have to go. Another saving we have found at Costco is pharmacy and glasses. Check it out and compare.

  49. Sandra McEwen

Thanks a lot, I will be going to Costco tomorrow. :o)

  50. Renee

Fantastic post! Though, I’ll now be spending even more on my trip this week!
