   Can anyone vouch for how loud this fan is? I’ve been searching for a loud small fan and I’ve come up empty-handed thus far. Thanks!

  If you want something just for the noise, check out a baby sound machine. We have one so our newborn’s little noises throughout the night don’t wake us constantly. It’s better than any fan we had. Really compact as well. It essentially has a little fan inside and you can twist it to make different shushing noises/volume. It can get pretty loud if you want.   I use this fan for white noise. It’s decently loud on the highest setting.

   I’ve had the same fan in black for a few years, and it’s okay for white noise. I also use a white noise machine (Lectrofan), and together, they are perfect.
