Are the Birkenstocks leather? I believe they make cheaper ones that aren’t leather.
They may be Birko-Flor, but it’s still a very good product. It’s soft, durable, and vegan friendly. Plus Birko-Flor is still 99.95 on Zappos. Some of the leather ones are well over that price. I have and love both types. They’re so good for your feet! $49.95 is an awesome price.Seriously.
Those aren’t the leather ones, which normally run $99. The leather ones go for over $100. I have that exact pair and I really like them. Since they’re not leather, I can get them wet and not worry.

Boise Costco had the Birkenstocks 2 Friday’s ago. I saw them the first day and went back the next day and there were only 3 pr left in my size. Sis saw people buying 8 pr at once for their family. Haven’t seen Toms here yet, but love my new Birkenstock. These are not regular stock, but special purchase. If you see something, buy it because they will be gone, and you can always change your mind and return items.

Which Costco in the Austin area had TOMS? Was it the one in Cedar Park?
Yes, Cedar Park! 😊 I actually almost walked right by them as they were on a separate rack than the tennis shoes so be sure and look around!
lol my sister just told me the family is going tomorrow. One year free of Costco is ending so going one last trip.
I just picked up 2 pairs for $19.97 in Santee (San Diego, CA). They had a count of 86, still a good variety in sizes available but only have the natural color- no more gray. I called around and La Mesa has 70+ but limited sizes and Southeast SD has 100+ but at regular price of $29.99
Sadly they don’t have any up here in north county! I checked Vista, San Marcos and Carlsbad 😔

Found the Toms at the Folsom, CA store. They had both colors (natural and ash), but they are $29.99.
Anyone know how to save a pair of stinky Toms (less than 6mo old, purchased at Austin,TX Costco😊)? They’ve been fine, no odor, until I got stuck in DC in a rainstorm with lots of walking…stinky inside and canvas uppers are now a bit stiff 😕. I know random, just wondering if anyone has a successful wash/freshen up technique. TIA
Hand wash with cold water and allow them to air dry
I wash my TOMS all of the time. To combat odor, I first spray (soak) them with ammonia and let them sit for a few hours. Then I wash them in my machine (with detergent) and do an extra rinse. I usually let them air dry in the sun afterwards.
No toms at Henderson NV costco but a ton of Birkenstocks with black leather at 49.99 there kinda hidden on bottom shelf in shoe isle but there’s plenty! Got a few for Xmas 🎁
