Scrub Buddies Dry Floor Cloths 20-count $1

Scrub Buddies Wet Sweeper Cloths 10-count $1
*
From Juliette: I recommend the off brand Dry Mop Cloths and it even fits the Swiffer! The packs come with 20 cloths for just $1. They are comparable to Kroger dry mop cloths. Work great!

Tumbler Cups with Lid and Straw $1

Glass Containers with Corks $1

Pregnancy Tests 1-count $1

Super Glue 5-packs $1
*
From Susan: When I buy the super glue, it’s such a long time between uses that it clogs – so I’ve switched to the 5-pack of single use super glue that Dollar Tree sells. Great buy in my opinion!
* From Kim – I purchased that super glue a couple months ago to glue my glasses back together and it’s still as strong as the day I bought them – highly recommend!

Sunbeam Alkaline Batteries $1
* From Linda: I read an article recently that recommended only buying alkaline batteries and they sell them at Dollar Tree!

Thanks for letting us know Kristi! I just added to the post!

    • Tammy

My Dollar Tree will not take internet printed coupons. : (

      • Kristi

I wonder why? I have never had an issue there. I use them almost every time I shop there. I’m in CA.

  1. Bev

I love the dollar. We buy alot from there and it saves me tons of cash.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear that Dollar Tree has helped you save so much Bev!

  2. Katie

I like to stop in and see what new designs they have for their reusable tote bags. With the plastic bag tax here in Chicago it is well worth the dollar!

  3. Pat

I wish we had the fee on plastic bags in Arkansas.

  4. Megann

So funny I just bought those genetic swiffers bc I was out! Haven’t tried yet.

  5. LeAnne

Get in good with your cashiers and ask them when the bread delivery is done. If you are able to make it there at the right time, you get fresh bread for a buck. The stickers on my 24 oz of Sunbeam bread said $2.79 and I got it June 1 and it’s sell by June 10th. They have other varities and options as well. Some brands you may have coupons for.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the helpful tip LeAnne! Good to know!

  6. Amy

For the last several years our Dollar Tree has had 20 count packs of the glow in the dark bracelets. The ones that you snap and the liquid inside glows. I always grab them for the 4th of July. We all wear them when we go to Fireworks and it helps us keep track of the little ones. They have little connectors so you’re not limited to bracelets, can do necklaces, etc. The kids do hula hoops sometimes. Something to entertain while waiting!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Such a neat idea Amy! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Sarah

I love the Scrub Buddies (just got 2 packages of 3 count) which are like Magic Erasers. They work great, just cleaning my whole house. LOL.

    • Donna

I second those magic erasers they work just like the name brand ones for a fraction of the price. Also I always buy the lint rollers here too we go through a ton so this really saves money.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Sarah!

  8. LeAnne

I forgot, currently our store has 3 pound bags of Whiskas cat food for a buck. That is a steal. A lot of us have donated to animal shelters and the feral feeding cat groups, I take care of 5 cats myself and this is a great deal.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh wow! Such a great find!

    • $$$$$

I was able to find the Whiskas as well. It was a pretty limited supply but I got 3 bags. 🙂

  9. holly

I can also agree with the dry floor cloths!! I used to have a dog and lived in a home with hardwood floors. These things worked so well!! I would use it every other day (attached it to an old Swiffer) and the hair to cling so well (used 2 sheets for the living room + bedroom).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Good to know how well they work for pet hair! Thanks for sharing!

  10. Jennifer Nichols

I used the tip from a few weeks ago and picked up pipe cleaners for our cat from Dollar Tree. He loves them. He doesn’t play with other toys. He loves them. Who knew! I like picking up cleaning supply tools such as brushes there too. I picked up a few father’s day cards last week too. Very impressed with the quality. Thanks for all the tips.

    • mamathinnes

LOL! Pipe cleaners are the ONLY thing that our kittencat will play with also!

  11. Kayjo

Reading glasses for $1 are the absolute BEST thing at Dollar Tree- I have them all over the house! My store just started carrying the ones that are also sunglasses. We also bought a calculator with huge numbers that we love. Greeting cards at mine are 2 for $1. My husband and I go to dinner and then to The Dollar Tree- we are cheap dates!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear how pleased you have been with their reading glasses! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

  12. Stephanie

I can vouch for the $1 pregnancy tests. I used those to find out that I was pregnant with all 3 of my kids. Even though I loved seeing “pregnant” on the digital tests (which I bought afterward to verify and just for fun) the Dollar Tree tests are fantastic!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Thanks for sharing Stephanie!

  13. Ni

I hope this is not too silly of a question, but would the dry cloths be good for dusting blinds? We just moved and the new house has plantation shutters, mostly wood floors and granite countertops. I was not the best at keeping the last house drop-by-anytime ready , but want to do better this time. What Dollar Tree cleaners have worked for you and what did you use it for?

    • Taco

      Yes they work great

  14. Carolyn

Look for Excipial hand cream 3.4oz tube in a box near the lotions. It’s expensive! $5.57 on Amazon. Made by Galderma (Cetaphil).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the heads up!

    • t5ijenn

I found ONE box of the Excipial hand cream today and snagged it! Thanks for the recommendation! What a deal!

  15. Smith

My dollar tree has 6 pack green apple Perrier sparking water (so delicious), theraflu name brand medicine, and say yes to carrots face wipes!

    • peepslob

      Wow, that’s awesome!!!!

  16. Nina

They also usually have good Libbey glassware that’s twice the price elsewhere. I’ve made the mistake of buying it elsewhere then finding the same glassware at Dollar Tree for $1 each.

  17. Megan

Love when the dollar store has the 4 pack of sunbeam LR44 batteries. Kids books that play music and the small electronic toys all use those and they are really pricey elsewhere. Had good experience with them lasting too!

    • MaaMaaBear

I’ve bought these in bulk on Amazin too!! I think 100 for like $8!

    • cathy

FYI I got a pack of 40 of those on e-bay for less than $2.50!

  18. K3llyb

I also love their brand magic erasers. They make mini ones too so if yours get really worn down you don’t feel bad tossing it. Can take scuffs off your sneakers really easily. The swiffer like products are great too esp since you can breeze through them so quickly.

  19. Erin

OK, I love all the pics, but why do almost all of them now include disembodied hands? I can see that holding an item might improve a picture in some cases but in most of the pictures, the hands seem superfluous. Is this a blogging convention to show that they’re not stock images? I find myself distracted trying to match up the hands in various posts.

I love getting seed packs from the DT they have 4 packs for a $1, my parsley, oregano, and sage are coming in nicely. Also I have gotten a 6 pack of gladilious bulbs, they are very easy to grow not to mention a lot of bang for a buck.

    • Holly

Ditto. Growing lettuce, cilantro, corn, carrots, from .25/pack seeds right now.

A find that I bought 1 of to see if I liked b4 buying more was a Package of 4 crossed out 6 I believe, or perhaps it was 6 crossed out and you got 8 good sized Plastic Clips that really grip that can be used for so many different things. There are 2 of each size in a mesh bag found with the different colored buckets, glasses, kids things, 4th of July, etc, in the front of the store in a small box in a couple of colors. The pkg had a very large, a med size, a much smaller size, and a baby size. Liked it so well that the next time I was there I bought two more cause I didn’t know if they would get any more in. Haven’t looked it they can be bought online.
