Through June 7th, or while supplies last, when you load your Starbucks Rewards account in the Starbucks app with at least $10 using Chase Pay as your payment method, you’ll score 250 Bonus Stars (= 2 Drinks). Keep in mind you must have a Chase card to pay. Go HERE for more information.
Here’s what you need to do…
- Open the Starbucks app (or install the app)
- Set up Chase Pay in the Starbucks App
- Return to the Starbucks App and Select Reload
- Load $10 or more to the Starbucks app using Chase Pay as your payment method
- Receive your 250 Bonus Stars within 48 hours
Here’s how to set up Chase Pay in the Starbucks App
- iOS Users: Tap Pay in the Starbucks app, then Manage. Then select Edit Payment Methods followed by Add Payment Method and Set Up Chase Pay.
- Android Users: Tap Pay in the Starbucks app, then Reload. Select Paying With, Add Payment Method then Set Up Chase Pay.

I did this last night and got my bonus stars today! A 125 stars reward gets you essentially almost anything on the menu (drinks, sandwiches, etc).

Mine keeps saying “we’re sorry but Chase pay is unavailable. Try again later.” Anyone else? I have an android phone.

Mine is giving me the same message on Android. I’ve tried it a few times.
First login into your credit card account at chase.com verify your phone number by getting a text. Logout
Open up chasepay app do the same and verify your phone via text. Next go to starbucks app reload your card and pay with chasepay. It worked for me.

Thanks for sharing…. I tried to use the second one and it had been taken. Tried the third one and it was also taken. Just so other people don’t waste time trying.
So I loaded my card thinking it would work but I used visa check out… so I haven’t seen my Rewards. I didn’t realize the email said chase pay in small print.
No Chase here, so no set up of Chase pay.

I had issues trying to pay from android. Needed to load $ on my card anyway so did Chase pay through starbucks website. Hopefully I will earn star rewards as well.

I’ve had to reset my username, reset my password, send 2 codes then when I try to reload it, the chase pay option disappeared. I’ll just call corporate tomorrow and demand the points just for my inconvenience.
I clicked the link but it took me to the website instead of the app I payed using chase pay though hope it still works if not I’ll contact them and hopefully they can give me the stars

I just tried to load mine with my Chase card, but I found out Chase business cards do not qualify. I emailed Starbucks & I hope they can still award the stars as a courtesy. Fingers crossed! Thanks H2S for posting this deal!!!

Should be within 48 hours. I received an e-mail the next morning and stars were loaded to my app.
