Do you have to get a service done & then you get a free updo? The ad is hard to read & a little confusing. It does say for 1st time customers only.

Has any one done any of these free hair services? I’ve always wanted to do the blowout and this one sounds great too. Just not sure how it works. Is it super crowded, do they try to up sale you and also do you tip? Thanks in advance.
The services are offered for the next 2 Fridays either by appointment or walk in if availability. It’s a free mini service such as braiding, flat iron or curling iron or beachy waves. It is a quick summer look featuring products you might want to purchase. No charge for service and no obligation to buy anything. Introducing you to stylists at the Ulta Salon. It might be best for guests to set up an appointment.
