Same thing happened to me. Was told by the person at the window if it doesn’t scan then they are not participating.
Mine has a coupon code and bar code. Haven’t tried it yet but now I’m nervous lol!
Hubs and I used ours this morning at a regular Starbucks store. Bar code did not work, but entering code manually worked just fine. HTH

I don’t understand how this works. I got a text message but there’s no bar code in it to scan. I ust be missing something.
Hi Judy! The text message should include a link that will take you to the coupon. It will have a barcode on top, a photo of 2 macchiatos in the middle, and 23-digit coupon code at the bottom. Hope this helps! 😀
Mine didn’t work today so I called and he said he would put $2.50 back on my card but nothing yet.
Try going to your account and hit refresh. It’s kind of tricky to find. It won’t just appear. Hope that helps.
Starbucks customer service is awesome, if you have issues just email them. I sometimes have issues with not getting my bonus stars from certain promotions and they always resolve the issue and get my stars to me within 24 hours. I also had an issue once with a Starbucks that told us all of their blenders were broken so they couldn’t make drinks and Starbucks sent me a $5 gift card for the inconvenience.
Just a heads up, on the Starbucks facebook page, they said this offer will only work at standalone locations (i.e., target, grocery stores, etc. will not accept them).
Tried it at a stand-alone. They said it doesn’t work there and wouldn’t even scan mine. Guess the baristas are over it.
My Kroger Starbucks accepted it, but had to enter the discount manually.
I tried it this morning at a stand-alone Starbuck’s, and it would not scan or work with the code. The barista explained that the code is too long. He was nice and still gave me 50% off!

I tried using the coupon yesterday at a stand alone store. Two baristas tried to scan it and manually enter the code… it didn’t work. They told me to try a store in target.
Just tried in Mahwah NJ, he said it won’t scan. He tried at least 100 times yesterday but he let me take a regular iced coffee without using my reward stars. Awww thanks guy! I will still email Starbucks because it is an official coupon and as per the cashier it isn’t a Starbucks coupon.

I was able to use the coupon at my local stand alone Starbucks about 5 minutes ago. The barista had no problem getting it to work

I used mine today, but it did take them a minute to figure it out. Call me crazy, but I think it worked when I did not zoom in on the coupon. Good luck.
My Krobux(Kroger Starbucks) had to enter it in manually, because they had been having trouble with the coupon. Glad they took it though.
I entered my cell number from my computer and 15 seconds later my phone “dinged” with the text! Thanks for the less expensive pick me up! I’m a librarian and summers have us JUMPING! I certainly know how our teachers feel. Now, when do the little blessings start school once again?!!!!
