how come mine are showing up as 7.00 what am I doing wrong?

    • Josie

I’m getting $9 (and change) for the 20 pc, and $13 for the 18 pc. Maybe the pricing depends on your location…?

    • bw1

For me the 20 piece is showing up as $9.36 on Walmart.com, but it has a $2.76 pick-up discount. The 18 piece is $13.99 with a $7.38 pick-up discount.

    • Jenn N

      mine was $6.60 + .40 tax=$7.00

How odd, I still find them for $6.60 from Amazon and from Walmart, after the pickup discount. Are you on a mobile device? If not, maybe check again in a different browser. Hope that helps!

      • Jenn N

        It was plus tax.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh ok! Thanks for the update!

          • Me

Mine was $6.80 for some reason haha. 0.20 cents more…

I got some of these at Thanksgiving and love them. Thanks

    • lisa

Me too, Morris. Got them for Christmas and wonderful hubby already heated up tomato-based products in some. UGggg.. Love them though. So much easier to keep neat in the cupboard.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how much you have liked them Morris! YW!

    Thanks!

      You’re welcome!

Walmart has 10% cash back with Ebates right now!

Just a word to the wise for anyone that might be considering these- I own two sets of them and they are NOT water tight. Liquids spill out of them. I only ever wash mine by hand so I know it’s not a dishwasher-damage issue. They are not good for liquid transportation. You’ll do just fine in the fridge with them, but they are a poor choice for lunchboxes & picnic baskets.

Wow, that is odd… I have 2 sets of them & have never had that issue. One set is pretty old, but I have gotten another set about 2 years ago. We use them all the time & love them. Constantly wash in dw too. When you close them ae you pushing the air out from the middle of the lid, & snapping the last corner closed by the tab? I do it that way, maybe that could be the problem.

      • Beth

Yep. Pushing the air out and they still leak. Both sets were purchased about 18 months ago, so maybe it’s a defect? I’ll not buy them again.

        • CJ

Beth, contact Rubbermaid (you can do it easily on line) and I bet they send you two new sets. Mine never leak. I have contacted them before for a trashcan who’s lid never fit right and they sent me a $25 coupon to get a new one! Their customer service is good.

          • Beth

Great idea, CJ! I may give that a try! 🙂

      • Dee

I was going to say the same thing, I’ve had them for years and tend to buy a new set every Black Friday at Walmart to add to my collection and replace worn containers. I’ve never had an issue with them leaking and I use them for soup all the time. Just need to be sure the lid is all the way on.

  6. Lolie

My total is $6.47 with store pick up. Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

got mine w/ the 10% ebates offer on Walmart…and am picking it up on Friday, which is perfect because I already have a package that I ordered last night that will also be there Friday, so it was a no brainer to pick these up while I am there. I have had these for years (probably my 4th set bc some don’t come home, some end up storing other things like thumbtacks and some break but not often) however, I have not had any issues w/ liquid leaking like poor Beth did. I would hate them if they leaked (Beth, you should contact Rubbermaid, bet they’d give you a whole new set bc they aren’t supposed to leak).

BTW, Amazon still has the 18 pc (add on) for $6.61 but the 20 pc is up. I didn’t order them from there anyway bc ebates gives me 10% back on Walmart and nothing on Amazon…it may only be 66 cents, but I’d rather it be in my pocket!

Thanks for sharing! I am seeing that as well!
