I believe they were 39.99 for brand new ones on prime day last year. I’m trying to debate whether to get the refurbished one or wait. I think I’m going to wait and cross my fingers for a deal next week.

Anyone own one of these? I’d love to hear your opinions! I’ve been eyeing this for a while now- every house my kiddos go to their friends own one….. they’re always begging mom (me) to get one 🙄
I own one and I find it invaluable, I use it to time my food when cooking more than one thing i have to keep time. I use it in my business for inventory for those pesky math problems I need solved when working my business. It even is used to tell my grandchildren bed time stories with their name in it as well as play music and tell them jokes. I also get my weather and news. I like it so much I even gave one to my 87 year old mother in law and she just loves listening to the old songs from her day as well as news and weather

We went to our family reunion this weekend and let me tell you: I was impressed with the Echo Dot. It (Alexa) hears commands over crowds of talking and is easy for seniors! Now my 71 yr old mom & 81 yr old uncle want one.
