Answer: Mine varies, sometimes silent and sometimes ticks rather loudly, easily audible from across the room if nothing else is making noise. However it’s a fairly low-pitch airy tick sound that I don’t find annoying at all. I probably wouldn’t want it in a bedroom or a study room though. “
