Just an idea to save more with the Kroger fuel points, my friends and I all have separate Kroger accounts. But when one of us gets enough points for a gas discount, we pull our cars in back to back and fill up both cars on one transaction and just payback the other person the difference. My car only has a 15-gallon tank, so I hate to let the discounted extra 20 gallons go to waste!

We’ve done that with my car and my husband’s truck. I also purchase gift cards when 4x points are offered. Just wish they wouldn’t offer it towards the beginning of the month as then I have to really pre-calculate just how much in groceries I’ll spend the rest of the month….don’t want to “waste” points that are carried over to the next month but are not enough to get a decent gas discount. Doubly difficult in the summer when they offer 2x points if shopping Fri.-Sun.
